I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with more than 25 years of experience dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, and older adults achieve emotional wellness and improved quality of life. I believe every person deserves compassionate, respectful, evidence-based care in a safe, judgment-free environment. My approach combines psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive therapy, and education to develop individualized treatment plans that address the whole person, not just symptoms. I strive to build genuine therapeutic relationships where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to participate in their own healing. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, trauma, grief, insomnia, stress, and other mental health concerns. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis, recovering from a difficult life event, or seeking long-term support, I will meet you where you are with empathy, honesty, and practical guidance. My goal is to help you develop the tools, confidence, and resilience needed to create lasting emotional wellness and live a healthier, more fulfilling life.

First session

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to treatment, your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, family history, lifestyle, and the goals you hope to achieve. I encourage you to ask questions and share your experiences openly. Together, we'll identify your strengths, discuss possible diagnoses when appropriate, and develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapeutic interventions, lifestyle recommendations, or referrals when needed. You can expect a compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where your concerns are heard and your voice is valued. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling understood, informed, and hopeful about the path forward.
