I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida practicing for over 20 years! I received my Bachelors from Florida State University and Masters from the University of Central Florida. Do you struggle with coping skills, setting boundaries, stress management, relationships, or just want to gain more insight? I help clients address the root cause of their difficulties and gain strategies essential for healing and wellbeing. As a therapist, I want you to become the best version of yourself.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with introductions followed by challenges. We will work through a tailored plan for follow up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with many clients over the last 20 years, I am able to identify root causes and challenges creating a custom plan.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My clients are motivated to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to meet this goal. We will work together to feel less overwhelmed and stuck.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for over 20 years working in healthcare with patients, medical staff, and individuals.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is used to help individuals recognize ways they attempt to suppress and control emotions. By helping individuals to recognize these challenges, we make room for value-based actions. I have used ACT for individuals and group work.

Christian Counseling

I empower individuals to connect with their faith beliefs for finding coping skills and insight making a meaningful impact.

Trauma Informed Care

I am trained in Trauma Informed Care. I use it in my practice by examining not why a person has a behavior but what happened to cause the behavior.
