Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Through my work with CBT, I have developed skills in identifying cognitive distortions, helping clients reframe maladaptive thinking patterns, and supporting behavioral changes that improve daily functioning. I have seen how CBT empowers individuals to become more aware of their internal dialogue and equips them with practical tools to challenge negative beliefs, regulate emotions, and develop healthier coping strategies. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients recognize patterns that contribute to distress such as black and white thinking and catastrophizing to improve their daily functioning and overall well-belling. I often incorporate techniques such as thought records, psychoeducation, and goal setting to help clients build insight and create measurable progress. CBT allows me to tailor interventions to meet each client's needs, whether addressing anxiety, depression. stress management, or life transitions.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Through this approach, I have learned that creating a safe, nonjudgemental space allows clients to explore their thoughts and emotions openly, fostering self-awareness and personal growth. I have witnessed how providing genuine support and reflective listening can help clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. In my practice, I aim to foster a collaborative and supportive environment where clients feel valued and understood. By prioritizing empathy, genuineness, and uncondiotnal positive regard, I will help clients develop greater self-acceptance, confidence, and clarity in their decision-making.
