Hello I'm Amy. Do you feel like your mind is crowded and need a space to sort it out? Are you looking to find a judgment free space to unpack your thoughts and worries? As a therapist, I have helped those with a growth mindset to work on patterns and thoughts that are no longer serving them. I truly value the therapeutic relationship to help heal with a holistic approach, body, mind and spirit. I use integrated system's theory tailored to your needs. I use a variety of modalities to treat symptoms which could include mindfulness, cognitive behavioral theory and acceptance commitment theory. I am also a DBT informed clinician but find that therapy really varies depending on the client. This is your journey! Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious or depressed, I would love to accompany you on a path of self-discovery and wellness. Vulnerability can be scary when seeking counseling. As your therapist, I promise to provide a safe and secure environment to grow and heal. I am looking forward to meeting you. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will a small amount of "housekeeping" and space for questions to hopefully help you feel comfortable. Then, we often start by hearing about hopes an potential goals. It is helpful for me to address any concerns or expectations about your healing journey. I can share my approaches to treatment and explores ways that we can build a strong working relationship.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My practice utilizes mindfulness and compassion as main sources to heal. I also hold tremendous value with Internal Family Systems (IFS) which allows the client to explore thought patterns are their origin. My hope is to give my client the awareness and courage to treat patterns that are not serving them well.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My practice has tremendous experience with caregivers and working to promote self-care and awareness. As your therapist, I hope to strengthen your relationship with your body and mind so that they work together to heal and grow.
