Welcome to The Listening Room, where silence speaks volumes. We provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for adults, couples, and families navigating life’s most meaningful and challenging transitions. Whether you are facing relationship concerns, parenting challenges, maternal or paternal mental health concerns, family conflict, or court-ordered treatment, our goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. At The Listening Room, we believe healing begins with being truly listened to. Together, we work toward meaningful change, healthier relationships, and lasting emotional well-being.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, review your goals, explore your personal and family history, and identify the areas you’d like to focus on. Together, we’ll develop a plan that supports your unique needs and helps you move toward meaningful, lasting change. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard from the very beginning.
At The Listening Room, we believe every client deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood. We combine evidence-based practices with compassion, cultural responsiveness, and practical strategies to help clients navigate life’s challenges. Our approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and values. Whether you’re working through personal concerns, relationship challenges, parenting, or major life transitions, we strive to create a supportive environment where meaningful and lasting change can occur.
Our ideal clients are families and individuals navigating complex and sensitive situations—such as long-held family, parenting and court involvement. Whether these challenges arise suddenly or have been building over time, we offer compassionate, structured guidance to help clients process experiences, strengthen connections, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
We help clients by using a method called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where we explore how thoughts, actions, and behavior are connected. This process usually takes around 8-12 weeks, and clients often notice an improvement in symptoms by the 5th or 6th session.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
The solution-focused approach focuses on finding practical solutions to current issues rather than dwelling on problems. It's about identifying what's working and building on those strengths to create positive changes.
Family Therapy
We utilize family therapy as a collaborative intervention to strengthen communication, resolve conflict, and foster healthier dynamics within the family system. By identifying patterns and encouraging open dialogue, we help families build stronger connections and support individual and collective growth. Our approach is tailored, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based practices.

I appreciate her consistent honesty and willingness to challenge me, as appropriate.

Guiding me through the process of figuring out what is truly causing my anxiety and the depression I am beginning to feel suffocated by. Helping me clear my mind to make discission for myself, not my children. They are moving back home without considering the additional financial burden I'm under.

She helps me see what I need to work on without judging me. She allows me to decide how I want to change my mindset while offering guidance to point me in the right direction. It’s empowering because, with every session, I feel myself moving in a better direction and gaining more control over myself and my life.
