(she/her)
Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to the human condition. Before becoming a therapist, I often found myself taking on roles as a helper, listener, and encourager to those around me. For years, I was unsure what path would lead me to a place where I could help others. While attending college, I began to learn about different organizations advocating for mental health and serving different communities. My passion for mental health grew, as did my certainty in becoming a therapist.
In our first session together, you can except a gentle approach as we get to know each other and what you want your therapy experience to look like. You can expect collaboration and partnership as we begin working together. We may go over some of your history, what brings you to therapy, and what do you hope to get out of therapy.
I believe my therapeutic strengths lie in my compassion for others, my warm approach, and my ability to create an inviting space for the therapeutic process to take place.
Clients I work with are open and ready for the therapy process to take place. They are welcoming of collaboration and ready to reflect and explore themselves more closely.
I am a therapist who takes an integrative approach to help clients. This means that I utilize various therapy techniques and theories tailored to each client’s specific needs. I am a strengths-based therapist who works to empower clients on their journeys to self-discovery and healing. I strive to create an environment that is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and supportive. I am always happy to answer questions about the therapeutic process and the different approaches I use.
