New to Grow
My name is Stanley Okeyemi, DNP, PMHNP-BC, and I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, including 8 years as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Throughout my career, I have been affiliated with more than 40 hospitals across the United States, providing psychiatric care to diverse patient populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that supports emotional wellness, symptom stabilization, and improved quality of life.
During the first session, clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where we will discuss their current concerns, emotional symptoms, personal history, stressors, and treatment goals. I will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to better understand their mental health needs, answer any questions they may have, and work together to develop an individualized treatment plan. My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable while establishing a clear path toward improved mental wellness and stability.
My greatest strengths include providing compassionate, patient-centered care while combining thorough psychiatric evaluation with practical, evidence-based treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I focus on creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their treatment planning. With extensive experience across diverse clinical settings, I am skilled at helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions while working toward long-term emotional stability and improved daily functioning.
I am best positioned to serve adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, stress-related concerns, and life-transition difficulties. Many of my clients are motivated to better understand their symptoms, improve emotional regulation, develop healthier coping skills, and achieve greater stability in their personal and professional lives. I work well with individuals seeking a supportive, collaborative, and practical treatment approach that combines psychiatric care with evidence-based therapeutic strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles regularly during psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits to help patients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In practice, I help patients identify negative thinking patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and manage symptoms such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and stress-related conditions. I integrate CBT techniques alongside medication management to support long-term symptom improvement, increase insight, and strengthen daily functioning.
