New to Grow
If you're used to being the one who has it together for everyone else, but lately you've been running on empty, you don't have to keep carrying it alone! I work with adolescents, college students, young adults, and women navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, identity shifts, and life transitions. Many of my clients are dancers, athletes, performers, helping professionals, and high-achievers who look successful on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in high-performance coaching, fitness, and behavior change. Today, I blend that background with evidence-based therapy to help clients understand themselves more deeply while building practical skills for lasting change.
There's no pressure to have everything figured out before you arrive. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you're up against right now, and what you'd want life to look/feel like if therapy worked. I'll ask about your history, your strengths, and your goals, not to run through a checklist, but to understand your specific experience. Many clients tell me they leave the first session feeling like they can finally exhale! You don't have to perform, have all the answers, or hold it together here. That's the whole point! We'll end by mapping out priorities and a plan that feels realistic and actually fits your life.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I balance a natural feeling of warmth with honesty. I'll absolutely sit with you in difficult moments, but I'll also gently challenge the patterns keeping you stuck. My own brain processes in frameworks, visuals, and practical tools, so sessions often include exercises, metaphors, or strategies you can continue using long after we meet. My goal isn't just for you to feel better during session, it's for therapy to translate into meaningful changes in your everyday life. Because of my background in behavior change and performance coaching, I'm especially skilled at helping high-achievers who know what they "should" do but can't seem to bridge the gap between insight and action.
My ideal clients are thoughtful, caring people who have spent so much time meeting expectations, achieving goals, or taking care of others that they've lost touch with themselves. They may look like they have everything together on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or major life transitions. Many are students, athletes, performers, helping professionals, or women navigating changing identities and responsibilities. They aren't looking for someone to simply listen. They want a therapist who helps them understand why they're feeling stuck and equips them with practical tools to create lasting change. They're ready to stop just getting through life and start feeling more present, confident, and connected to who they are.
Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts and emotions, ACT helps you respond to them differently. We'll practice making room for uncomfortable experiences while taking meaningful steps toward the life you want to build, even when anxiety or self-doubt show up.
CBT helps us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together we'll identify patterns that are keeping you stuck, challenge unhelpful thinking, and develop practical tools you can use in everyday life.
Stress doesn't just affect your thoughts, it affects your body too! I help clients recognize how anxiety, burnout, and chronic stress show up physically while learning grounding, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation skills that support both emotional and physical well-being.
Change can feel overwhelming, especially when part of you wants things to be different while another part feels stuck. I use a collaborative approach that helps you explore your own motivations, strengthen confidence, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels realistic without adding pressure.
DBT offers practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and responding thoughtfully instead of reacting automatically. I often teach tools clients can begin practicing immediately between sessions.
