Finding a therapist can feel personal. You want someone who will listen, understand what matters to you, and help you make meaningful changes. I’m Natalie, and I’ve spent over 10 years helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, self esteem, and life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and honest. We can explore what you have been through, recognize patterns that no longer serve you, and develop practical ways to move forward. I know that culture, identity, relationships, and lived experiences shape how each of us sees the world, so I take time to understand what those mean for you. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin.

I’ve spent most of my adult life trying to understand what makes us human—what drives us, what holds us back, what brings us peace, and how we heal. That curiosity led me to the field of mental health and continues to guide my work. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from Eastern Washington University, and I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, hospital emergency rooms, medical units, psychiatric wards, health insurance, as well as the prison system. My approach is shaped not only by professional experience, but by real life. I’ve experienced deep personal loss, wrestled with questions about meaning and change, and spent time in the client’s seat myself. I understand what it’s like to feel lost, and I also know what it takes to move forward with greater strength and self-awareness.

I’m Eddie. I’m a therapist, husband, dad, and someone who has lived enough life to know that people can change. I became a father young, have experienced my own struggles with addiction and recovery, and I wasn’t always the person I am today. A lot of my life has been about learning how our physical, mental, relational, and spiritual worlds are connected, and how our past can shape us without having to define our future. Before becoming a mental health therapist, I worked in substance use treatment, which was especially meaningful because I understood some of that struggle personally. Today I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, ADHD and neurodivergence, addiction, anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, and life transitions. I’m not interested in reducing someone to a diagnosis or pretending I have life completely figured out because I’m sitting in the therapist chair. I’m another human being who has done a lot of growing myself, and I want therapy to be a place where you can be honest about who you are, understand how you got here, and figure out who you want to become.

Thank you for sharing information about yourself. I'm so happy that you reached out for help. I am Michael Creech, a licensed therapist. My goal is to meet you where you are by bringing a compassionate approach backed by formal training and experience and be a part of your goals in the change process. I am very personable as well as professional and I do not believe in one-sided relationships. I have a multidisciplinary, eclectic approach to therapy in which I utilize techniques and principles from a variety of modalities to include Christian based. My counseling is geared toward treating the whole person from a biopsychosocial spiritual standpoint. I view counseling as a calling and not as a career and that it is a collaborative effort in which I learn and grow as a result of every interaction. My clients describe me as a “good listener” and as someone who “makes me think”. Some of the experiences that have contributed to my professional identity and approach to mental health treatment are my formal education at Pensacola Christian College where I received a BA in Pastoral Ministry and Liberty University where I received a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked as a therapist under regulatory agencies for 6 years and have worked in Christian Ministry since my ministerial ordination in 2003. Demographics I have served have included inpatient and outpatient care, private practice, substance abuse issues, psychotic spectrum disorders, gender identity issues, personality disorders, sex addiction, family and relationship issues, depression, anxiety, PTSD, Spirituality, and men’s issues. My experiences as a combat military veteran, teacher, father, husband, and a person who has experienced my own traumas and failures have contributed to my professional development. I look forward to getting to know you!

I am authentically me, and I show up as a human first. I believe everyone carries their own stories, strengths, and struggles. I meet each person with openness and without judgment. I understand difficult things because I've lived through them. I bring personal, lived experience with trauma, neurodivergence, complex family dynamics, and the ripple effects addiction can have on those close to it. This isn't just clinical knowledge to me, it's something I've walked through myself. In a world that can feel unsafe or unwelcoming to those who are "different," I strive to be a safe place for you. My goal is simple: to help you feel truly seen, heard, and feel better. Your healing and your journey are my passion. I’ve been married to my best friend for over 26 years, and together we have an adult daughter, two beloved fur babies, and tortoise. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll most likely find me out in nature, kayaking, walking trails, or simply enjoying the calm. My family and I love playing all kinds of board games, and I also enjoy reading, painting, and watching movies or mindless TV when I need to recharge. At the heart of everything I do is a deep belief that healing happens in safe, authentic connection and I am honored every time someone invites me to be part of that journey.

Clients shouldn't have to be in therapy forever! Together, we'll co-create a balanced approach combining active listening with practical techniques, helping you reclaim your narrative and overcome obstacles. My clinical and holistic approach aims for deeper alignment and fulfillment—think more water, less soda. As an LCSW, I'm trained in EMDR, certified in Theta Healing, Reiki, Transformational Life Coaching, and Therapeutic Touch, and am a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, and Time Line Therapy. I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space to explore your wants, needs, and emotions. You know yourself best, and our work is about uncovering your truths rather than imposing mine. Together, we'll determine the tools and approaches that best suit your needs, ensuring you feel heard, validated, and empowered. The goal is to help you confidently manage challenges independently over time. We'll walk side-by-side, with you gradually taking the lead and me offering steady support. If you have pressing concerns, those always take precedence. Our sessions focus on understanding HOW you think, not just WHAT you think, exploring both conscious and unconscious beliefs and emotions. You'll leave with clear, actionable steps, such as mindfulness exercises, creative writing prompts, meditation, and breathwork techniques to regulate emotions and reclaim your narrative. Therapy isn't about fixing what's "broken" but enhancing alignment and fulfillment while overcoming obstacles. By focusing on your goals and measuring progress, we can eliminate stigma, leaving shame behind and empowering you toward greater self-awareness and fulfillment.

My approach to therapy is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which means we will look at how your past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns shape how you feel and act today. However, human beings are complex, and a single formula does not fit everyone. I dynamically integrate multiple therapeutic techniques—drawing from cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness practices—tailoring each session to exactly what your unique situation warrants in the moment.I believe the clinical, sterile reputation of mental health care can often keep people from getting the support they deserve. Because of this, my primary goal is to demystify the therapeutic process and make our sessions feel as comfortable and natural as a genuine conversation. You do not need to worry about clinical jargon, cold assessments, or feeling like a case study. Instead, we will work as collaborative partners in a warm, down-to-earth space, talking through your challenges openly so you can understand yourself deeper and build a clearer path forward.

Hello, my name is Ace (they/them or ze/hir pronouns) and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the intersections of neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ identity, and disability. Have you ever wished you could talk about your concerns without having to give a 101 level lecture first? Are you struggling to find treatment as an Autistic adult or an adult with ADHD? Whether you're undiagnosed, questioning, newly diagnosed, or just looking for some extra support, I'm here to meet you where you're at with tools and strategies that work. I'm a queer, Autistic, non-binary psychologist of color and I've spent the last seven years learning to provide support to members of my communities as they navigate systems of care not built for us. I believe that therapy should be collaborative and consensual, that evidence-based treatment must honor culture and neurotype, and that gender-affirming care is a human right. If you're struggling to build a system of supports and accommodations that will allow you to thrive, if you're questioning your gender or sexuality and need a guide, or if you're just looking for a safer space to process the everyday stresses of your life. You are welcome here.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Arizona and Indiana. I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Christian Theological Seminary. I have had the opportunity to work in and gain knowledge from a diverse collection of settings that include elementary, middle and high school, hospital chaplaincy department, private practice and private agencies working with families in the child welfare system. Each of these settings has provided me with hands-on experience working with individuals and families in crisis, as well as those who are faced with navigating some of life’s challenges such as divorce, loss, and addiction. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I love a systems approach, understanding that we do not exist in a vacuum, but rather are part of larger systems. I take a non-judgmental, warm approach to therapy and I believe in tailoring my therapy towards my client's individual needs. Together we will establish goals and design a path towards a healthier way of being. I draw from a multitude of therapeutic techniques that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy. Clients who work with me have a desire to change. Whether facing everyday challenges that are holding them back from living a fulfilling life or struggling with family dynamics that have caused distress or trying to navigate through grief, my clients can learn to use their insight to find new ways of functioning that better serve what they want from this life. My clients can see a future for themselves that brings peace, happiness and healing. The first step towards seeking help is often the most difficult. We are not alone in this world, but we are compelled to isolate ourselves from the fear of experiencing too much pain. Hi, I'm Carla, and I'm glad you're here. Reaching out for therapy isn't always easy, and I believe finding the right therapist is an important first step. I work with women who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, burnout, low self-esteem, or the constant pressure of trying to hold everything together. Whether you're balancing work, family, relationships, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you don't have to navigate it alone. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. At the same time, I believe therapy should be practical. I won't just listen; we'll work together to understand what's keeping you stuck, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, and develop realistic strategies you can use in your everyday life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and person-centered techniques, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. I also value cultural humility and understand how life experiences, family expectations, identity, and personal values can shape the way we experience stress and healing. My goal is to help you feel more confident, develop healthier coping skills, strengthen your self-worth, and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. I believe meaningful change happens one step at a time, and you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. If you're ready to invest in yourself and start creating lasting change, I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

I value authenticity, empathy, and self-awareness, both for myself, my clients, and as a critical part of the therapeutic process (I also take advantage of the healing power of laughter whenever possible!). I aim to normalize and validate my clients’ experiences without judgment, and above all, provide the most basic of human needs: to feel seen and heard. My name is Stephanie (or Stevie, either is fine) and I have been providing therapy in NJ exclusively via telehealth for about the last 5 years (prior to that, in person). I have a deep passion and respect for the power of therapy to change lives, which I have been privileged to witness in my work with clients, as well as in my personal life, both through the consistent use of therapy as part of my own self-care, as well as having spent the last 20 years raising two children with special needs. If you have been struggling with symptoms of depression or anxiety, particularly if they are related to a traumatic experience, I would love the opportunity to work with you to reduce your symptoms and help you experience a present that is not overshadowed by your past. I love working with women ages 20 to 30-something who are still in academia or just starting out in their careers, but also love working with women of any age. I frequently work with survivors of child sexual abuse, as well as those struggling with issues related to self-worth, but work with other conditions as well.

You don't need to have it all figured out before you begin — that's okay. I know that first step can feel like the hardest one to take. All you need is the willingness to take it. I help adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, chronic health conditions, pain, or major life changes reconnect with themselves and feel more in control of their lives. I began my social work career in 2006 in medical social work, hospice, and home health, supporting individuals and families through chronic illness, serious health concerns, loss, and difficult transitions. These experiences shaped my understanding of the deep connection between physical health and emotional well-being. I became a mental health provider because I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, supported, and empowered. I'm passionate about helping people regain a sense of themselves, find hope, and develop tools to move forward through trauma, stress, and difficult circumstances. Sometimes life simply becomes too much, and it's okay to say, "This is hard," and ask for help. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training. I primarily work with adults navigating life transitions, chronic health conditions, pain, medical trauma, and traumatic experiences. My approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from EMDR, Brainspotting, clinical hypnosis, IFS-informed and parts-based approaches, Ego State Therapy, Imaginal Nurturing, and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), tailored to each client's needs and goals. I believe wellness is holistic — we don't get sick one way, and we don't get well one way. Mental and physical health are deeply connected, and I'm here to support your whole-person well-being through counseling, so you can get back to being you and enjoy life again.

Hi, I’m Dr. Ebony B. I’m a licensed therapist, healing guide, and space-holder for people who are tired of being the strong one. If you’ve been carrying the weight of emotional pain, burnout, or the pressure to keep showing up for everyone else, this is your space to put it all down and just be. I work with Black women, caregivers, and high-achieving professionals who often feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or like they’ve lost themselves somewhere along the way. Many of my clients seem to have it all together on the outside but feel exhausted inside. You don’t have to keep holding it in or pretending to be okay. You deserve a space to be real, to rest, and to heal. In our work together, we’ll move at your pace. I help clients understand what they’re feeling, where those emotions come from, and how to care for themselves with more compassion and clarity. We talk through patterns, explore your past, build boundaries, and learn new ways to cope that actually feel good to you. You’ll feel supported, not judged. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. We’ll laugh sometimes, reflect often, and create room for honesty, softness, and growth. I honor your lived experience and believe in healing that respects your identity, your story, and your values. You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re ready to feel more like yourself again, I would be honored to walk with you.

My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. I work with clients who are thoughtful, introspective, and motivated to better understand themselves but may feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, or uncertainty about their direction in life. Many people I work with are navigating questions related to identity, relationships, purpose, or major life transitions. My goal is to help clients gain clarity about the patterns influencing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can move forward with greater confidence and intention. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These approaches help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, and build practical strategies that improve daily functioning. I also incorporate narrative and reflective techniques that allow clients to explore the personal stories and experiences that shape how they see themselves and the choices they make. An important part of my work involves helping clients move beyond insight and into meaningful action. Therapy often includes identifying automatic thought patterns, practicing grounding and emotional regulation strategies, and experimenting with new behaviors that align with a client’s values and long-term goals. I also use structured check-ins and evidence-based tools to track progress over time. By regularly reviewing mood patterns, emotional changes, and skill development, clients are able to see measurable progress while staying focused on what matters most to them. Clients often describe my approach as collaborative, thoughtful, and practical. Together, we create a space where clients can reflect deeply on their experiences while also developing the tools needed to navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

When life shifts, your body often feels it first. You might experience a "heavy" fatigue, or a nervous system that feels permanently stuck in "fight or flight." It can be difficult to find the best tools to manage life's challenges, but learning how to regulate your mind and body can significantly improve your quality of life. I'm Meghan, a Counselor specializing in Somatic-Informed Therapy. I believe that true resilience isn't just "mind over matter"—it's learning to listen to what your body is telling you. My approach combines traditional clinical insight with somatic (body-based) tools and mind-body techniques. We won't just analyze your stress; we will work to discharge it from your nervous system. Whether you are navigating something new or seeking new coping tools, I provide a grounded space to help you reconnect with yourself.

Hello! I am a licensed social worker (LICSW) who has been working in the medical setting for 9 years, helping patients and their families navigate chronic medical conditions. Because of my role at the hospital, I am also a Certified Clinical Transplant Social Worker (CCTSW), meaning I have expertise in organ transplant. I have realized over my time in the hospital setting that the moments that bring me the most fulfillment are the ones where I am engaged 1:1 and providing individuals with support, therapeutic intervention, encouragement, and coaching. I decided to open a therapy practice to allow me to provide this support outside the hospital. To this end, I completed a year-long therapist training program in Expressive Arts Therapy at Seattle's Northwest Creative & Expressive Arts Institute. I am working towards becoming a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT). Outside of work, I love being outdoors with my family, going on adventures with my nieces, thrift-store wandering, having soul-enriching conversations with friends, and finding opportunities to dance.

Welcome, and thank you for looking at my mental health provider profile. I hope we are able to work together in counseling to help you through a difficult time and improve the quality of your life. My education and experience include bachelors (Idaho State University} and master's degrees (University of British Columbia) in Social Work. I am clinically licensed in Washington and Idaho states. My background is in physical and mental health with internships in Hospice, and inpatient psychiatric hospital for severely mentally ill, and in end-of-life AIDS care. My employment has included hospital social work, emergency department social work, mental health and suicide assessments and safety planning including hospitalization, if necessary, trauma (physical and emotional), and grief and end-of-life counseling. I also did several years of private mental health practice with individuals, couples and children. Most recently I worked with high-risk adolescent youth who failed foster care and were placed by the State in residential care. I am unmarried with very close children and grandchildren. I have 3 dogs and a couple of mice-cats, and chickens for their eggs. I grew up in a military (US Marine Corp) family in California and on the east coast, eventually settling back in California. I left California for college and university then settled in rural Washington State. I enjoy the company and consultation of my sisters who are a clinical social worker and a registered nurse. I enjoy home improvement projects, training my dogs, attempts at vegetable gardening with limited success, family gatherings playing with grandchildren and grand nieces and nephews, exploring historical and cultural connections from the Appalachian Mountains, and reading books and watching movies, especially historical fiction. One of my favorite things that sustain my emotional well-being is to laugh and have fun with the people I love.

Hello! I'm John, a compassionate and grounded therapist. I practice psychodynamic therapy, drawing on narrative, somatic, and EMDR approaches to meet you where you are and tailor sessions to your needs. I spent the last five years working with teens, young adults, and parents at a local community health organization, and I'm excited to bring that experience to Grow Therapy. I see change as a marathon, not a sprint. We'll start by focusing on immediate symptom reduction — helping you move out of constant fight-or-flight reactions. Once you're not in that reactive state so often, we can work toward deeper, lasting change. It took years for you to get where you are, so established patterns won't shift overnight. Part of our work together will be helping you build compassion for yourself along the way. You're human, and you won't be perfect. Real change happens when you make the same old mistake, remember you're on a healing journey, extend yourself some grace, do the necessary repair work, and try again. I especially love working with parents at every stage of life. Parenting is a hard job — nobody can push our buttons quite like our own kids. As a parent myself, I understand how difficult it can be to stay grounded and offer loving, consistent boundaries when our kids — whether babies, toddlers, teens, or adults — are testing us. My approach is tailored to your needs: I use somatic tools to help your body learn what calm and safety feel like, cognitive tools to help shift how you think about and approach situations, and pattern-recognition work to help you identify habits formed early in life — so you can notice your reactions in the moment and choose to respond differently.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Washington. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Washington from Spokane to Tacoma! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Washington.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
