I believe that healing happens when we look at the whole picture. Mental wellness isn't just about what is happening in our minds, rather it is deeply connected to our environment, our social structures, and our lived experiences. With a professional background rooted in systemic advocacy, housing case management, and youth mentorship, my practice is built on the understanding that real emotional healing requires a foundation of physical, environmental, and psychological safety. I offer a space that is both deeply compassionate and grounded, where you can feel safe to explore your most authentic self. My communication style is a blend of gentle curiosity and direct, honest reflection, ensuring our sessions feel like a genuine conversation. I believe in meeting you with warmth and a touch of real-world relatability.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll find our rhythm. While I’ll gather your history through a biopsychosocial lens, it won't feel like a clinical interrogation. It is a grounded conversation about your story where I empower you to decide if we’re a good fit. I want you to feel seen as a whole person, ensuring you have the final say in our partnership.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that my strengths lie in my unique intersection of systemic insight, deep emotional attunement, and radical authenticity. I am not just a clinician who sits in a chair and nods; I try to be a builder of safety and a cultivator of resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I partner with women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and creative thinkers who feel they don’t fit traditional boxes. If you’re navigating anxiety, depression, or self-esteem struggles, I offer an affirming space to reclaim your narrative. I’m a "real person" in the room, helping you move through heavy seasons and build lasting self-trust. Clients dealing with chronic anxiety, depression, or deep-seated shame. On the outside, they are managing, but on the inside, they are exhausted by a loud inner voice telling them that they are "never doing enough." Someone who doesn't want a rigidly detached therapist who just nods and takes notes. But they want an egalitarian, collaborative relationship with an authentic human being who views them as the ultimate expert on their own life.

My treatment methods

Gender-affirming therapy

My approach is explicitly affirming, recognizing the unique minority stressors faced by LGBTQ+ and gender-expansive individuals. I provide a space where clients’ identities are not pathologized, but rather celebrated as a core part of their self-trust and empowerment journey.

Strength-Based

Instead of focusing strictly on deficits, pathology, or limitations, I collaborate with clients to discover and amplify their existing internal and external resources. We work on framing survival strategies as evidence of strength, helping to reclaim agency and rewrite narratives from a place of empowerment.

Compassion Focused

I work with clients to understand their emotional regulation systems—specifically helping them transition out of chronic "threat/defense" or "drive" modes and cultivate their "soothing" system. By developing self-compassion, clients learn to relate to their struggles with kindness rather than self-blame, which is essential for deep trauma healing.

Humanistic

My foundational lens is deeply holistic, recognizing that mental wellness cannot be separated from a person's physical, emotional, and social environment. In Practice: I look at the whole picture—evaluating how housing stability, systemic factors, and community connections intersect with internal mental health.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I utilize ACT principles to help clients develop psychological flexibility. Using mindfulness and compassion to allow room for difficult thoughts or trauma responses, I guide clients to stop fighting their internal experiences and instead commit to meaningful actions that align with their core values.
