My name is DeShawn. I was born in Chicago, Illinois, as the youngest of 12 children. At the age of eight, following a house fire, I entered the foster care system and became disconnected from my 11 siblings. That experience changed the course of my life and left me carrying a profound sense of loss, disconnection, and the need to understand what it means to feel whole again. Much of my life has been a journey of healing, rebuilding, and learning how to navigate the lasting impact of trauma while developing a healthy sense of self. These experiences have shaped the therapist I am today. My therapeutic approach is grounded in resilience, self-awareness, healing from trauma, and helping people recognize that their past experiences do not have to define their future. I believe therapy can provide a space where people can better understand themselves, develop healthier ways of relating to others, and begin creating a life that feels authentic and meaningful to them.

Hi, I’m Sarah. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), yoga teacher, and Reiki practitioner, my approach to healing is deeply rooted in the mind-body connection. I came to this work after years of teaching and navigating my own healing journey, where I learned firsthand that the body often holds what the mind tries to explain away.In our work together, we won’t just treat symptoms. We will look at how emotional trauma impacts your entire system, blocking internal peace and manifesting physically and mentally. Using a blend of Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I will help you welcome and work with all parts of yourself—not just the polished ones. Together, we will integrate mindfulness, breathwork, and deep presence to guide you back into alignment and peace.

Hi, I’m Paige! I’m a licensed therapist, and I work with adults who may look like they’re doing alright on the outside but find themselves struggling with anxiety, depression, self-doubt, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or uncertainty about what comes next. You may be navigating a major life change, questioning your decisions, or simply feeling stuck in patterns you’re ready to understand and change. My style is approachable, collaborative, and curious. I take an active role in therapy, offering insight and practical tools while giving you space to explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you. I especially enjoy helping clients understand the “why” behind the way they think, feel, and respond, including how our nervous systems can be impacted by stress and difficult experiences. A big part of my work is also helping people recognize that they’re often more capable than they give themselves credit for. We’ll look at what’s keeping you stuck, what you want to do differently, and how you can build more confidence in your ability to handle what comes your way. My hope is that you leave therapy knowing yourself better and trusting yourself more.

I have been a social worker since 2006 and decided to start my private practice in the midst of the pandemic as stress levels rose from fear, job changes, financial issues, child/eldercare, relationship issues, racial injustices, air quality, displacement by the wildfires, climate change, the list goes on. I always felt that I was called to help others. Growing up in South Los Angeles, I developed a sense of culture and community amongst Black and Brown people as well as a respect for the struggles of BIPOC. I grew up around artists, musicians, poets, leaders, givers, and eccentrics from all walks of life. During this time, I discovered how much I enjoyed listening to people, problem-solving, and motivating others to succeed and explore their authentic selves. I started off as a mentor in undergrad, inspiring other young people of color to attend college and think outside of the box in regards to their futures. I continued working with children, teens, and adults with special needs until I landed a position as an intern at a non-profit mental health agency in South Los Angeles. After I obtained my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I continued to grow as a clinician, supervisor, and manager at the nonprofit while also taking on teen and adult clients in the private practice setting. I am now pursuing my dream to work Full Time as a Private Practice Therapist.

I am a licensed mental health and addiction counselor with a background in the psychobiology of addiction and a strong focus on helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change. My work blends evidence-based therapy with a trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware approach, recognizing that healing often involves more than insight alone. I am Level 1 Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and use parts-based work to help clients understand internal patterns with curiosity and compassion rather than self-judgment. I am also a Certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Rest & Restore Protocol provider through Unyte Listening Therapies, offering listening-based interventions that support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and a greater sense of safety and connection—particularly for individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress. My therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, and individualized. I work primarily with adults navigating addiction, emotional regulation challenges, relational difficulties, and life transitions. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening internal resources, and building skills that support sustainable change both inside and outside of therapy.

Hi there, I'm Farah Ali. I am a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and dedicated advocate for my clients. My educational foundation is based in psychology and social justice, having earned my master's degree in social work with a dual concentration in community practice and clinical mental health. Driven by a strong commitment to human rights and social justice, I am dedicated to advocating for every individual I work with and the communities I am part of. My Core Principles as a Therapist: Focusing on Strengths & Empowerment: Central to our work is helping you to more deeply connect to—and really use—your inherent strengths. This means looking for growth opportunities where some might find roadblocks and accessing both internal and external resources to help you make the changes you want to see in your life. Working for Comprehensive Wellness: Therapy is a place where we can work toward mental and emotional wellness, learn how to foster positive relationships, and discover a greater sense of balance and ease in your day-to-day life. Promoting Connection & Authenticity: The relationship we have is vital, which is why I work hard to make sure our relationship is a nurturing space for meaningful growth. Creating Safety in Being Seen: I strive to make our sessions a place where every emotion is valued, encouraged, and supported—yes, even the “bad” or “undesirable” emotions. This is the space we cultivate together in our work, and space that is here to help you more deeply see yourself, and be seen in your authenticity.

Hi there! Let's sit and chat... Are you looking for a safe space to explore and organize your thoughts and feelings? Many people see therapy as a one-sided conversation, with little opportunity for interaction or getting to experience one another as real people. I can assure you our sessions will be as real as it gets! I want to help you achieve whatever solutions and life changes you are looking for. We'll work on building trust and a sense of safety, using open communication and humor, to identify how we can improve on your already existing coping skills, supports, and knowledge. Although this process may be challenging, we will work to enjoy the process as much as possible, so you can experience yourself, your relationships, and your life in new ways. Simply put, I don't think therapy has to be a painful thing for you. Starting this step can be hard and I would love the opportunity to work with you on this journey. For Private Pay Clients: Individual Sessions: $190/hour Couple/Family Sessions: $230/hour **All couples and families are seen via private pay. This allows us to focus on the relationships in the room, rather than the diagnosis of an individual. **For those out of network, should you meet criteria for a diagnosis accepted by insurance companies, I can provide monthly superbills that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Please note that the payments received by the insurance provider as reimbursement may not cover the full service fee and I cannot guarantee reimbursement.

In life, we sometimes question the nature of our experiences and how these experiences have shaped us into the person we are today. During these moments of questioning, feelings of doubt, confusion, and other emotions may build upon one another to create the sense of "not knowing" oneself. It is in these times, we may feel as if we are alone in these experiences. The gift in therapy is to know that you are not alone in these experiences. The therapeutic relationship, through valuing, listening, and understanding, can provide appreciation for the questions that we sometimes ask of ourselves.

You don’t recognize the face staring back from the mirror. “What’s happened to me?!?” Years of pent-up worry are taking a toll – and the evidence is there. The constant questioning and doubting… “Who am I kidding? My time has passed to live the life I want.” Therapy can help you weed through the dark moments and gain objectivity so that you are no longer bogged down by the pain of these moments. A lifetime of experiences led you to this moment. Other experiences have been tougher – so distressing that reminders of these moments make you feel like you’re right there, experiencing that pain all over. Sometimes, you’re anxious, depressed, and out of sorts for seemingly no reason. These moments have collected over time and made an intricate tapestry that is your life. Now you’re ready for change and to retake control of your life. I will provide a safe and comforting space for you to explore your values, desires, and passions. Become unapologetically you and free to pursue your happiness. Through the use of cutting-edge trauma therapies, we will find the road blocks and navigate through them together. I’m Dora, an LCSW based in Florida specializing in therapy for medical professionals, healthcare workers, and high-acuity staff experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, anxiety, and work-related stress. With over 6 years of clinical experience and an MSW from the University of South Florida, I work with nurses, residents, first responders, and hospital staff who are exhausted from long shifts, high responsibility, and nonstop pressure. My approach is direct and practical, centered on boundaries, nervous system regulation, and coping strategies that actually fit a healthcare schedule. Therapy here is realistic, grounded, and human because life is messy, work is demanding, and sometimes it really do be like that. I offer early-morning therapy sessions for shift workers who need support before or after long hospital hours. If you work in healthcare and are tired of holding it together, therapy here is built for you.

I’m glad you reached out for support. Taking that step can require courage and strength. Many of the adults I work with are doing their best to hold everything together but feel overwhelmed on the inside. You may be dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, health concerns, difficult past experiences, or a major change in your life. You may also be facing grief, relationship challenges, questions about who you are, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself. I believe therapy should feel human, compassionate, and practical rather than clinical or cold. I offer a space where you can speak openly, feel heard, and explore what you are going through without judgment. Together, we can look at what is weighing on you, build on the strengths you already have, and develop practical tools that support you in daily life. If you are feeling stuck, tired, or ready for something to change, I’m here to help you take the next step. Our first session is a chance for me to listen and learn more about you and what brought you to therapy. You will have space to talk openly about what has been difficult and what you would like to change. We can begin identifying what is weighing on you, the strengths you already have, and practical ways therapy can support you. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable moving at a pace that works for you. I work with adults in Ohio, Arizona, and Nevada who may look like they are managing well on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, health concerns, life changes, relationship challenges, grief, or feeling disconnected from yourself.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling “stuck.” They might describe themselves as broken, overwhelmed by self-doubt, or unable to manage life’s demands. They often carry the weight of unrealistic expectations—whether imposed by family, culture, or themselves. Their presenting issues might include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or challenges with identity and self-worth. Beneath those challenges, however, is often a resilient core waiting to be rediscovered. Using a strengths-based resiliency approach, I view each client not through the lens of pathology, but through potential. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences with compassion and purpose. The therapeutic process is not about “fixing” what is broken, but about recognizing the inherent strength, resilience, and wisdom that already exist within each person. Using CBT, we explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many people find that negative thought patterns—often formed through past experiences or self-doubt—can keep them feeling anxious, sad, or stuck. In therapy, we work together to challenge those unhelpful beliefs and replace them with more balanced perspectives.

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist residing in Central Florida. I am licensed in the states of Florida and Nevada. I have been working in the field since 2009. I graduated from UNLV in Las Vegas, NV with a Bachelor's in Psychology and then from Chapman University in Orange, CA with a Master's in Psychology, having a Marriage & Family Therapy emphasis. I have specific experience working with individuals dealing with the effects of PTSD. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Mindfulness Informed Professional (CMIP). I treat individual clients as well as couples. I'm not afraid to stand beside those who are dealing with the effects of trauma, and I'm open to helping people work through those feelings. I take a nervous system deactivation approach to trauma work that is intuitive and effective along with addressing the cognitive side of trauma and using mindfulness techniques. I am willing and able to help anyone regardless of ethnicity or gender identity. That said, I do have a special interest in the needs and struggles of black people (particularly black women) in our country. I believe that my role is to be completely present during the therapeutic process, serving as a guide and facilitator for my clients. I strive to create the safest space possible for people to express and process their feelings while learning how to better cope with stress and anxiety. Hi! My name is Cassandra. I am a Las Vegas native and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping people better understand themselves and their relationships. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, identity development, relationship challenges, and self-esteem struggles. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to explore their experiences honestly. I draw from attachment-based therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and experiential approaches to help clients understand patterns in their relationships and emotional responses. Together, we explore how past experiences may influence the present and develop healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Finn and Ollie, who keep life entertaining and remind me daily about the importance of play, rest, and unconditional connection. I also have the most wonderful friends that I enjoy going to antique shops with and going on long drives to have long talks and listen to music. Being a Vegas native has also given me a deep appreciation for the diverse community here, and I’m grateful to support individuals from many different backgrounds. I am always seeking to learn more in all areas, in effort to provide the best support that I can to the individuals that I work with.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University and my Master of Social Work from Indiana University. With over 8 years of experience, I support individuals in managing anxiety, navigating depression, and healing from past trauma. My approach blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness with a spiritually grounded perspective. While therapy is rooted in clinical skill, I also create space for deeper connection—often integrating spiritual awareness into the work for those who are open to it. I believe healing is not just mental, but also deeply internal and, at times, spiritual.

I am a mental health therapist dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the stressors that come with everyday responsibilities. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, collaborative space where you can show up exactly as you are — without judgment. My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in helping you build practical tools you can use in your daily life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps identify how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we work to recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, sustainable change. I also understand that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I tailor treatment to each person’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. As a first-generation Latina, I have a deep appreciation for how culture, family expectations, and lived experiences shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. I strive to create a space where cultural identity is respected and understood, and where clients can openly explore how these influences impact their mental health and relationships. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped with tools that help you move toward the life you want. Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and I am honored to be part of that journey with you. Please note that I do not provide treatment for eating disorders, substance use disorders (including alcohol), or any court-mandated cases. Please note that I do not fill out FMLA paperwork, ESA paperwork, or any other legal documents unless 6 months of consistent therapy has been received. There is a separate fee for paperwork outside of the copay.

I'm a psychotherapist with 35-plus years of experience. After completing training in clinical social work and psychology at the University of Maryland (M.S.W., 1988) and Saybrook Institute (Ph.D., 1991), I began practicing as a family, couples and individual therapist. I have hosted on radio/podcasts, have written two books and thousands of self-help articles in my "Life's a Beach" column for nationwide Gannett media. I love working with clients in the here-and-now, and finding solutions to move forward with life. My primary goal is to help you help yourself. I will guide and coach you, not tell you what to do. Diagnostic labels are useful at times, but you are not your labels. I'm your thinking partner: We'll reason and think our way to what makes sense together.

Hi, I’m a therapist who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical to be effective. I help people sort through stress, self-doubt, relationship tension, and life transitions—with clarity, compassion, and a healthy dose of humor. My clients often tell me they chose me because I feel relatable and real, and because I’m not afraid to laugh with them even when things are tough. I’m straightforward and down-to-earth. I’ll meet you where you are without judgment, help you challenge what’s keeping you stuck, and walk alongside you as you make sense of what’s working—and what isn’t. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I believe in real conversations, real growth, and helping you feel like yourself again (or maybe for the first time). Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, or just trying to feel more grounded in your life, I’m here to help you reconnect with your strength, your clarity, and your sense of possibility. You don’t have to be perfect or polished. Just bring yourself—we’ll take it from there.

Welcome — this is a space where you can be honest, seen, and understood. I’m Shakea “Kea” Roper, LCSW, and I bring 15 years of clinical and life experience to our therapeutic partnership. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by cycles that just won’t shift — I see you. I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, depression, racing or intrusive thoughts, life transitions, and relational struggle. My style is active, grounded, and rooted in both compassion and challenge. Many clients say: “Kea listens like no one else — and she’s not afraid to stretch me when I need it.” I integrate evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, Brief Therapy) along with more specialized models: Making Sense of Your Worth (MSoYW): an 8-week group curriculum developed by HALO Project where we explore and heal the internal “lies” we believe about ourselves, rebuild toward positive self-worth and secure attachment. Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT): a structured, cognitive-behavioral system where we work through step-by-step exercises to enhance reasoning, decision-making, and a healthier identity (beyond self-destructive or impulsive patterns). I also actively engage in community work, and I’m currently pursuing my doctorate (which continues to deepen my perspective and rigor). Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me at board game night, crafting, or spending time with family. It’s an honor to walk alongside you. Nelson Mandela said, “Everything seems impossible until it’s done.” Let’s work together toward the possible. I’m currently accepting clients in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, Utah, North Dakota, and Nevada.

I believe that each one of us has the answers to our problems inside of us. However, sometimes we need someone on our journey to help us unlock those answers by asking the right questions---things you may not have considered, presenting proven strategies, and psychoeducation. Although, you will make strides with the energy and effort you give, the number one predictor that one will improve is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I hope to provide a place of warmth, compassion, and acceptance in which you feel empowered and free to approach any concerns. I am here to help you along on your journey. I am a licensed mental health counselor in Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Utah. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with an Educational Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling. I also earned a Master's of Art from Roosevelt University. I have experience working with youth and their families as well as adults. The theoretical framework that I usually draw from is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I also apply Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing Techniques as needed. I address trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, interpersonal skills, self-esteem, anger, problem-solving, and decision-making. In conjunction with therapy, I believe that exercise, proper nutrition, and good sleep hygiene are an integral part of overcoming mental health concerns. Change, even positive change can be challenging and uncomfortable. I hope to provide the necessary support as a champion of change.

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV in a big, blended family. During my internship and following graduation, I worked at an inpatient treatment facility for teens dealing with high suicidality, self-harming behaviors, and psychosis. It was during this time that I began to recognize how much work can be done to prevent crises before they strike, rather than trying to figure it all out afterwards. Also, it isn't just big things like suicide that can be prevented-working to decrease stress, anxiety, increase fulfillment..these are worthwhile too. If you feel nervous/weird/awkward/anxious about therapy, that’s normal. All I can say is, you matter. You are an important part of the world. Let’s work together and see if maybe, just maybe, things could get a little better.

Hi! My name is Vyvian Nguyen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New Mexico and Texas. My work is grounded in trauma‑informed, culturally responsive care, shaped by years of supporting people across the lifespan as they navigate what life has been brewing. Serving in the U.S. Navy as a Master‑at‑Arms has helped me understand service members, veterans, and their families whether it’s the tension that builds from deployments, the stress of switching between civilian and military life, or the pressure to keep everything together. It also taught me the importance of having a space where you don’t have to be “on” all the time. As a Vietnamese American with parents who came to the U.S. as refugees after the Vietnam War part of the generation often referred to as “boat people” I grew up with a close view of cultural transitions, intergenerational patterns, and the strength it takes to rebuild in a new place. That perspective helps me support families who are newly arriving or adjusting to a new country with understanding and respect. Tea Time Therapy grew from the idea that growth doesn’t need to be rushed. Like a good cup of tea, it often needs warmth, time, and a space that feels steady enough to settle into. My style is warm, straightforward, and lightly humorous enough to ease tension without taking away from the work. You don’t need perfect words or a polished story. You just need a grounded space to slow down, breathe, and explore what’s been weighing on you at your own pace. We’ll take it one sip at a time.
