Welcome! I’m Halley, a licensed clinical professional counselor here in Maine. I specialize in working with people navigating typical life stressors as well as more challenging hurdles. My therapeutic approach is solution-focused, validating, and goal-oriented. I want to help you make progress toward bettering your life. My focus is on working with individuals seeking deeper emotional understanding, greater self-compassion, and practical tools to navigate life's challenges. I specialize in supporting clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—whether due to anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, or life transitions.
I have always wanted to help people and have been happy to lend an ear or a shoulder to anyone in my path who has ever wanted or needed that. Since adolescence I have been a natural therapist to those around me working my way to where I am now, and I couldn't be happier doing this work. We all need someone to talk to who can help us navigate some of life's challenges. Sometimes we are lucky enough to have a friend or loved one who can give us what we need, but sometimes we need a different perspective or a neutral ear. It is important to know that you don't have to do it alone. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life or struggling to work through some difficulties on your own, support is a helpful and a good thing to seek and accept. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. My goal is to provide an overall experience where you feel comfortable, welcomed and supported in this part of the journey.
I use a trauma-informed connection and compassion focused, client lead, strengths based, talk therapy approach. I incorporate evidence based modalities such as, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, relaxation techniques and structured grief work. Come as you are, I will affirm you and support you in being your most authentic self.
The healing journey is personal, non-linear and can feel overwhelming. One of my favorite quotes about therapy is “Therapy is a gift. It is a chance to finally be heard, understood and supported.” If you are ready to take this step and gift this to yourself, I am ready to unconditionally hear and hold your experiences with you on this journey.
I am a therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and the impact of past experiences. I use approaches like CBT and EMDR to help you better understand your patterns, process what’s been holding you back, and build practical tools for lasting change. My style is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel more grounded and in control.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and over 26 years of experience in education, including roles as a school counselor and an Educational Diagnostician. I have been working in the mental health field for over 19 years, providing compassionate and effective counseling to adolescents and adults up to age 65.
I serve a diverse range of populations, including men, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those seeking faith-based guidance through Christian counseling. My practice includes working with couples to resolve conflicts, supporting families in strengthening their relationships, and tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. With a commitment to adaptability and care, I strive to create a safe and supportive space for personal growth and healing.

Hi there. I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has been practicing for 20+ years, serving both Massachusetts and Maine. I truly believe everyone can benefit from therapy and consider this work impactful to all. Beginning this journey is no easy feat as it's never easy to acknowledge or ask for help. I thoroughly enjoy working with women or are finding themselves "stuck", reeling after a break up, pondering if the relationship they are in is best suited for them. I have also focused on couples couseling-exploring new ways to reconnect, navigating a decision to no longer continue and the aftermath of divided homes with children.
My approach is direct and action focused. I want to find the most efficient way to retrain your brain and try something new! I consider myself lucky to be the one to help you through your toughest moments and guide you to a path of mental well being. You having the opportunity to be your best self and living your best life is my ultimate goal.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 14 years of experience working as a clinician, therapist , and crisis interventionist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance use problems, psychosis, and ADHD. I also helped people who have experienced trauma and/or emotional abuse.
I would like to clarify my expertise does not include eating disorders, or pornography addiction, although I do understand some of the symptoms and causes. AGAIN, NO PORN ADDICTIONS, COUPLES COUNSELING, OR MARRIAGE COUNSELING.
My therapy style is genuine and solution focused.. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach is dialectical behavioral based with strengths perspective and motivational interviewing. Any treatment plan to meet your needs will be collaborative, timely, and with measurable goals. Usually following the "S.M.A.R.T." goal format. Specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely.
I have worked extensively in crisis intervention in the agency and on the streets, in hospitals, and in mental health courts and case management agencies, and have managed in this capacity. I also have many years experience related to substance use disorders and have worked as a therapist utilizing primarily Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as my main approach as well as utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy . These tools can be modified in a number of ways to help clients achieve their goals .
Regardless of any experience, upbringing, current, or past situation, everyone has choices they can make that best serves them and the life they want to live.
I look forward to working with you!
Welcome! I'm Lisa.
First, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards working on improving your mental health. I know starting therapy can be scary and empowering at the same time.
During sessions, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to their mental health including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, parenting challenges and everyday stressors. I focus on helping clients develop new strategies and boundaries in order to help improve their quality of life. I treat each client as an individual as there is no "cookie cutter" way of managing each individual's stressors and challenge.
Counseling can foster personal development in whatever way you may be seeking and help build the life you so deeply deserve. If that's what you're looking for, I'm here when you're ready to share.
I’m a licensed therapist with over 18 years of experience helping adults navigate burnout, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I work with high-functioning individuals who often appear to have it together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck beneath the surface.
Many of my clients are used to pushing through, taking care of others, and managing everything on their own—until it stops working. They come to me looking for more than just coping strategies. They want to understand what’s driving their patterns and experience real, lasting change.
My approach integrates EMDR, parts work, and nervous system-focused therapy to help you move beyond surface-level solutions. Together, we work to reduce overwhelm, process unresolved experiences, and shift the patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
The impact of this work is more than symptom relief. Clients often begin to feel calmer, more grounded, and clearer in their decisions. They develop a stronger sense of self, improved boundaries, and a greater ability to navigate stress without becoming overwhelmed.
My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to make meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for you. You don’t have to keep doing this alone—change is possible, and it can feel more sustainable than you might expect.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples.
My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy.
I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility.

Hi, I'm Amber.
I believe many of us spend years trying to find where we belong.
Along the way, we learn how to adapt. We become who others need us to be, who our families expect us to be, who our workplaces reward us for being, who our relationships require us to be, or who feels easiest to love, understand, accept, or choose. Sometimes we become the peacekeeper. Sometimes the achiever. Sometimes the caretaker. Sometimes the one who stays quiet. Sometimes the one who becomes whatever is needed to maintain connection, acceptance, or belonging.
Over time, it can become difficult to tell which parts of us feel genuinely ours and which parts developed in response to fear, loneliness, rejection, expectations, workplace demands, relationships, or the longing to be seen, understood, valued, accepted, and chosen.
If you've found yourself asking questions like, "Why do I always feel different?", "Why do I feel like I don't quite fit?", "Why am I never chosen?", "Who am I beneath everyone else's expectations?", or "What parts of me no longer feel like mine?", you're not alone.
I work best with adults navigating life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, identity shifts, or seasons of feeling disconnected from themselves. My work focuses on helping people explore these questions with curiosity and compassion, reconnect with the vibrant, authentic, parts of themselves that may have been buried beneath years of adaptation, and cultivate a stronger sense of belonging to themselves.
I don't believe my role is to tell you who you are. I believe the most meaningful answers are rarely given to us. They are uncovered. My role is to help you slow down, become curious about your story, listen more closely to your voice, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been there all along.
Much of the human experience is shaped by relationships and attachment. Our early attachment experiences influence how we connect, communicate, and relate to others throughout life. When these patterns no longer serve us, they can create distress and disconnection in our relationships. I work with people from all walks of life who want to better understand their attachment patterns, break unhelpful cycles, challenge limiting core beliefs, and improve communication. My goal is to support meaningful change that fosters healthier, more secure, and fulfilling relationships.
I am a holistic, person-centered marriage and family therapist with specialized training in attachment theory and relational healing. I support individuals, couples, and families who struggle to feel understood, express emotions, or have their needs met, helping foster safety, connection, and meaningful change.
My approach is rooted in the belief that connection is at the heart of healing. When individuals feel seen, heard, and valued, they are better able to access their strengths, build insight, and create meaningful change. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences without judgment and with genuine curiosity.
I work collaboratively with clients, recognizing them as the experts of their own lives. Together, we identify patterns, strengthen communication, and develop practical tools that support healthier relationships with others and with oneself.
I also believe in the resilience and capacity for growth within every person and family. Even in moments of disconnection, pain, or uncertainty, there is opportunity for repair, understanding, and transformation.
My role is not to direct, but to guide, to help clients reconnect with their values, deepen their relationships, and move toward a more grounded and fulfilling life.
Hello, my name is Bernard Scott, and I live in Boston Massachusetts. I attended Boston Public Schools, attended Boston University for my bachelor's degree, Simmons University for my master's degree, and Southern California School of Professional Studies where I received my Doctorate (PsyD) in Counseling Psychology. I became licensed in (psychiatric) Clinical Social Work and received my LICSW License in 1996. I have been in this field for over 35 years and worked in a number of clinics, hospitals in Boston and Brockton. I enjoy helping people find their inner strength and work through those subconscious unresolved issues from the past so that the individual can finally be free from childhood traumas, past relationship issues ect. I strongly believe that between the developmental ages of 1 through 18 can and does affect who you are today and what ever happened to you between that time still has a hold on you today at the ages of 20, 30 50, etc. Getting rid of all that hurt, anger, trauma, etc. so that you can address it, work through it, come to terms with it and ultimately leave it all behind, and unload it.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed School Social Worker with over 10 years of experience providing mental health services across diverse settings. My work includes jails, residential and inpatient facilities, outpatient care, private practice, collaborative care programs, and substance use treatment and rehab facilities. I also hold a certification through the International Problem Gambling and Gaming Certification Organization (IPGCC), allowing me to support individuals struggling with gambling, gaming, or substance-related concerns. I am dedicated to providing client-centered care that empowers individuals to achieve meaningful, lasting change.
I'm a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with 19 years of clinical experience, 15 years licensed within private practice.
I consider myself to be bicultural. Having been raised as a first-generation American in a Latin family, I can identify with the mentality of someone living within two "worlds". Transitioning from one culture to another with seemingly different values, beliefs and language. I can easily understand the struggle that maintaining, and existing in both, can sometimes be. I've come to perceive and appreciate it as the gift of having a "bridge" that allows connection to, and understanding of, different aspects of people and life.
My education has a foundation in Clinical Psychology, woven with holistic transpersonal themes, the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and just plain down-to-earth common sense. Always keeping in mind the client's personal beliefs and values.
I have been a therapist for 20 years, and am also a Certified Grief Counselor. I also have experience in corrections, substance abuse clinics, and residential treatment facilities. I can help you address and resolve the concerns that are bringing you to therapy.
You deserve support that meets you where you are. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, seeking clarity, looking to make sense of it all, or just need space to breathe, please reach out. I’d be happy to help.
