Thank you very much for checking here; I am honored to serve you. My 17+ years of experience includes many years of counseling and listening, across various cultures, ages and personal client needs, with a few years as adjunct professor at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, LA: 3 years of work as a patient counselor in a hospital psychiatric unit, and 3 years of practice in a pediatric clinic. My current solo practice is empathetic, accepting and non-judgmental, having also practiced as an EAP (employee counselor) in a very large hospital and city system, in which I was required to see anyone for any situation or issue they may bring to counseling. This unique opportunity provided me with insights and understanding of people beyond my own personal scope of experience. I believe this has made me more sensitive to the needs, hurts and stress of the various clients I serve. I am generally available 6 days a week for appointments, because I really do enjoy my practice and my clients. I am licensed in Louisiana, Oregon and Florida and serve clients in those states, as well as in overseas countries. I am old enough to enjoy my 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchild, together with my wife in a delightful sharing relationship. This creates a relaxed, accepting and strong relationship and family foundation for your counseling needs. My personal strengths hopefully convey to you a caring and positive mindset as we work together. My hobbies are sailing, backpacking, snow skiing and cooking (especially apple pies:) Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello, and welcome. I'm Kanilina Clerge, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of KC Counseling and Wellness. We specialize in helping adults and couples navigate the impact of trauma on relationships, emotional well-being, and daily life. Our Grow Therapy profile represents KC Counseling & Wellness as a practice, rather than a specific counselor. We thoughtfully review each client's intake information and match them with the clinician who is the best fit for their needs. Our approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. We integrate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and relationship-focused interventions to help clients build insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change. If you're struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, trust issues, emotional overwhelm, or the lasting effects of difficult life experiences, we strive to provide a supportive space where healing, growth, and deeper connection can occur.

From the outside, it may look like you have it all. You've built a successful career, business, or family, yet something still feels off. You may feel disconnected, misunderstood, stressed, or simply not as fulfilled as you expected to be. You might even find yourself wondering, "Why doesn't this feel the way I thought it would?" If that resonates with you, you're not alone. Since 2007, I've helped individuals and couples better understand themselves by uncovering the relationship blind spots that quietly shape every area of their lives—from the relationship they have with themselves to the relationships they have with the people they love. Many of my clients don't come to therapy because they're falling apart. They come because they know they're capable of experiencing more in life. More love. More connection. More peace. More fulfillment. They simply don't know what's getting in the way. Together, we'll identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck so you can begin creating the life and relationships you've been wanting all along. My practice is intentionally small and built around a concierge model of care that differs from traditional in-network therapy. I work best with clients who are ready to invest in themselves through a committed, integrative process rather than casual weekly check-ins.

You can be the strong one and still be tired. You can love your family and still feel overwhelmed. You can have a good life and still know something doesn’t feel right. I’m Maitey “Mya” Etienne, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Mind & Heart Connect. For over 16 years, I’ve worked with people who are carrying a lot sometimes quietly. Anxiety, relationship problems, grief, trauma, parenting stress, overthinking, major life changes, or simply feeling like you’ve lost yourself somewhere along the way. My style is not stiff or overly clinical. I’m going to talk with you, not at you. We’ll laugh when appropriate, have the uncomfortable conversations when necessary, and get to the heart of what’s really going on. I believe therapy should be a place where you can take the mask off. You don’t have to come in knowing exactly what to say or where to start. Bring the confusion, the frustration, the tears, the “I don’t even know anymore” we can start there. At Mind & Heart Connect, the goal isn’t to create a perfect version of you. It’s to help you understand yourself, heal what needs healing, set boundaries without guilt, communicate more effectively, and feel more confident in the life you’re creating.

Hi! I'm a licensed counselor in Florida (LMHC), Texas (LPC-Supervisor), and Utah (LCMHC). With over a decade of experience, my journey in mental health began with a passion for helping individuals overcome life's challenges and achieve their fullest potential. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to continuous learning and professional development. I have specialized training in trauma-informed therapies, which allows me to provide compassionate and effective support to clients who have experienced trauma. Understanding the profound impact trauma can have on an individual's life, I am committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their experiences and find healing. In addition to my work with individuals, I have a deep commitment to helping couples strengthen their relationships. I am trained in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach to couples therapy that focuses on building strong, healthy relationships. Using this method, I assist couples in navigating and healing from betrayals, enhancing their communication, and fostering a deeper connection. Witnessing couples transform their relationships and rediscover trust and intimacy is incredibly rewarding. Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about self-care and mindfulness. I often incorporate these practices into my therapy sessions, empowering clients to develop their own self-care routines. I believe that a holistic approach to mental health, which includes attention to physical, emotional, and mental well-being, is essential for achieving lasting positive change. Whether working with individuals or couples, my goal is to help my clients build resilience, find balance, and lead fulfilling lives. By providing a supportive and empathetic space, I strive to guide my clients on their journey towards healing and personal growth.
