New to Grow
I am licensed in Georgia with 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I work with adults and teenage clients who are ready to change.
In our first session we will work on getting to know one another. I want to know what made you reach out to Grow Therapy. I want you to think about the last 2 months and how you want the next 2 months to look. We will discuss coping skills and I’ll provide resources to help you get started on your journey to therapy. I look forward to working with you.
I have a warm and welcoming approach. I believe that the rapport between the therapist and the client is imperative to the therapeutic relationship. I want my clients to feel comfortable, if they ever feel uncomfortable talking about any topics please let me know. I enjoy using CBT and DBT skills to help clients regulate their emotions and manage symptoms of depression and anxiety.
My ideal client is open to new perspectives. They have an open mind and are ready to see positive changes. My ideal client may be new to therapy or they’ve been in therapy before. I believe therapy is for every day people who experience every day stressors. My ideal client shows up as their authentic self and they are honest.
