am a licensed clinical social worker with experience in inpatient behavioral health, where I’ve worked closely with adolescents and adults facing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy and draw from evidence-based practices such as CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques. My goal is to provide a supportive and structured space where clients can build insight, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, the focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from treatment, while also giving you space to share at a pace that feels comfortable. We’ll begin identifying initial goals and discussing what therapy might look like moving forward. My priority is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable starting your therapeutic process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in my ability to build strong therapeutic rapport quickly while providing a structured, calm, and supportive environment for clients. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy in a flexible way that meets each client’s individual needs and goals. My experience in inpatient behavioral health has strengthened my ability to remain grounded in high-stress situations and effectively support clients experiencing acute distress, emotional dysregulation, and complex mental health concerns. I focus on helping clients gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and make meaningful, sustainable progress toward their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, emotional dysregulation, life stressors, and behavioral challenges. Many of the clients I work well with are motivated to improve their coping skills, increase self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of managing emotions and relationships. My background in inpatient behavioral health has strengthened my ability to support clients experiencing acute stress, crisis situations, mood disorders, and difficulty navigating major life transitions while providing a supportive, structured, and trauma-informed therapeutic approach.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to challenge negative thought patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and improve emotional regulation. My experience in inpatient behavioral health and outpatient behavioral health has allowed me to apply CBT with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, and behavioral concerns by using interventions such as cognitive restructuring, psychoeducation, and coping skill development.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness-based therapy techniques to help clients increase present-moment awareness, improve emotional regulation, and reduce distress related to anxiety, trauma, and mood-related symptoms. In my practice, I incorporate grounding exercises, breathing techniques, and mindfulness interventions to help clients build coping skills and become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical responses without judgment. My experience in inpatient behavioral health has shown me the value of mindfulness in helping clients manage stress, impulsivity, and overwhelming emotions while supporting overall stabilization and self-awareness.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths, build on existing successes, and develop practical goals for positive change. In my practice, I focus on helping clients recognize achievable solutions rather than remaining centered on problems, while encouraging self-efficacy and resilience. My experience in inpatient behavioral health has allowed me to use solution-focused techniques with adolescents and adults by helping clients develop coping strategies, improve communication, and create realistic short-term goals that support stabilization and progress in treatment.
