I believe in empowering women and empowering women who are survivors of abuse. In reaching out, you are taking the first step in investing in yourself. Therapy could sometimes feel intimidating or frightful. I believe in debunking that myth. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or dissociation, we will work together to make a plan that is individualized specifically for you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After your first session, you can expect to start working on managing symptoms and have psychoeducation regarding your symptoms that will explain the root cause, diagnosis, treatment goal identification, and what you can expect from treatment.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Treatment methods I utilize are tailored per client and can include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Psychodynamic, Psychoeducation, Client Centered, Solution Focused, and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a niche for providing individualized treatment that meets your needs. I view it as a puzzle, looking at the whole person and not just one piece. I have had much success in helping clients move past traumas, and barriers, and providing a well-rounded approach so clients can manage outside of treatment. My goal is to work on the root of the issue, not just address the symptoms so if you need treatment in the future, it is not for the same issue that brought you to me.
