As a seasoned helping professional, Ms. Edwards has worked with children, youth, and families for over 30 years in a variety of settings including school-based, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and outpatient settings. Among her wide-range of experiences, she has provided therapeutic interventions to diverse populations of individual, couples, and families utilizing modalities including but not limited to cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused, all from a client-centered approach that incorporates the clients’ goals and need for safety in the therapeutic relationship.
Throughout the stages of life, we struggle to identify and embrace who we are and act with confidence in the midst of adversity.
