Jake's main therapeutic focus is increasing awareness of environments and everyday situations, opening one’s perception of life choices, and intensifying feelings of empowerment and liberation in our work together. Jake’s CBT/Solution Focused style is interactive and fun while honoring his client’s relationships, helping them discover what is truly needed from these relationships and inspiring them to live authentically. Jake has years of practicing in county mental health agencies as an MFT Trainee & an AMFT. As of January 2026, I am not currently accepting new client's due to being full. When this changes, I will update this profile accordingly.
Our first hour session will consist of informed consent (legal & ethical requirements), then various open-ended questions to best gather information on you to begin building rapport/establish a treatment goal that best supports you/ your goals.
I am a fully licensed working professional who shows up authentically himself to best allow for client’s to feel emotionally safe to do so as well over time in a professional setting.
Allow me to walk alongside you as you educate me on your narrative in order to create awareness on the situations you are navigating through, choices we can identify together, & allow for you to step into your authentic being. Evening sessions available Tuesday-Thursday 5:15pm & 6:15pm telehealth only at this time for clients located in California.

I began my sessions with Jake when it felt like I was trapped in a deep well. No matter how hard I clawed at the walls, I kept slipping… staying stuck in old wounds thinking I could change the past. Jake has a gift of really seeing me. He gently held up a mirror and helped me see the ways I was chaining myself to the past and sabotaging my future. Jake has taught me to be in the present, helping me see my future will not be defined by my past. For the first time in a long time, I have hope.
