New to Grow
Hello, my name is Kimberly Allen and I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about the support I provide. My background includes offering brief therapeutic counseling, clinical and consultation services. I have extensive experience developing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral and mental health services. This includes conducting assessments, providing individual follow-up, creating treatment plans, facilitating psycho educational interventions, and leading group therapy. I also coordinate one-on-one services such as person-centered planning, financial counseling, and mental health support. In addition, I develop and manage comprehensive case management services, evaluate clients’ ability to cope with daily living challenges, and support individuals with complex social needs by creating personalized social care plans. My goal is to meet you where you are, understand your unique needs, and work collaboratively toward improving your overall well-being. I look forward to working together.
Here’s what you can expect during your first session with me: Our first meeting is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you in. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your goals, and any challenges you’ve been experiencing in your daily life. I’ll ask some questions to help me understand your background, strengths, and the type of support you feel would be most helpful. We’ll also go over what services I provide, how the process works, and what you can expect moving forward. This includes discussing things like confidentiality, treatment planning, and how we will work together to support your wellbeing. You’ll have time to ask questions, share anything you feel is important, and tell me what you would like to focus on. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer picture of your goals and the next steps. My aim is to create a calm, respectful, and supportive space where you feel heard, comfortable, and empowered as we begin this process together.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to blend clinical expertise with practical, realworld support. I focus on understanding the whole person — not just the immediate concern — and helping clients build meaningful, realistic steps toward change. My method is collaborative and strengthsbased, meaning we work together to identify what’s going well, what needs support, and what strategies fit your life. I combine therapeutic counseling with comprehensive case management, allowing me to address emotional, behavioral, and everyday life challenges at the same time. This includes supporting clients with mental health needs, daily coping, financial stressors and broader social issues that affect wellbeing. Clients appreciate that I provide a structured yet flexible process: • I start with clear assessments and treatment planning. • I offer consistent followup to help you stay on track. • I use practical, solutionfocused strategies that can make an immediate difference. • I make sure you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout our work together. Overall, my approach stands out because it brings together therapeutic insight, reallife problem solving, and genuine partnership — helping clients feel more grounded, capable, and supported as they work toward their goals.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are navigating stress, life transitions, mental health concerns, or complex social challenges. Many of the individuals I work with are looking for support in areas such as coping skills, emotional regulation, problemsolving, and improving daily functioning. I work well with clients who are open to exploring their experiences, motivated to understand their patterns, or simply seeking guidance on how to move forward. Whether someone is feeling overwhelmed, trying to manage multiple responsibilities, or hoping to build stability in different areas of their life, I focus on meeting them where they are and helping them build meaningful, achievable goals. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and solutionfocused. I help clients identify their strengths, understand their challenges, and develop practical strategies—whether related to mental health, financial concerns, stress management, or overall wellbeing. I aim to create a safe and respectful space where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to make progress in their personal goals.
