I am a licensed mental health professional with over 13 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. My work focuses on helping clients navigate relationship challenges, improve communication, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections. I take a collaborative, CBT-informed approach that is both practical and compassionate, creating a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, relationship dynamics, and any relevant history to gain a clear picture of your needs and goals. This is also an opportunity for you to share what you hope to get out of therapy and to ask any questions you may have about the process. Together, we’ll begin identifying key areas to focus on and discuss a plan for moving forward. My approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental, and I aim to create a comfortable space where all individuals feel heard and respected. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a better sense of how we’ll work together and the next steps in your therapeutic journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a balanced, supportive, and structured therapeutic environment where clients feel both understood and guided toward meaningful change. I use a CBT-informed, goal-oriented approach that helps individuals, couples, and families identify unhelpful patterns and replace them with healthier, more effective ways of thinking, communicating, and relating. What sets my work apart is my focus on practical, real-world application. I emphasize skills that clients can use outside of sessions to create lasting improvement in their relationships and daily lives. I also adapt my approach to meet the unique needs of each client system—whether traditional or nontraditional—while maintaining a clear therapeutic direction. Clients often appreciate my ability to combine compassion with clarity, helping them feel supported while also being gently challenged to grow. My goal is not only to reduce distress, but to strengthen connection, insight, and resilience over time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve a wide range of families and partners, including both traditional and nontraditional family structures. I work with married and unmarried couples, blended families, co-parenting partners, single-parent households, and chosen families, recognizing that meaningful relationships take many forms. Many of the clients I support are navigating challenges such as communication difficulties, conflict, parenting stress, shifting roles, or major life transitions. I also work with families who want to strengthen their connection, improve understanding, and build healthier patterns of interaction. My approach is inclusive and respectful of each family’s unique structure, culture, and values. Using a structured yet flexible CBT-informed approach, I help clients identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical skills, and work toward shared goals. Whether the focus is improving communication, rebuilding trust, enhancing family cohesion, or creating a more supportive home environment, I aim to provide a collaborative space where all members feel heard and empowered to create lasting, positive change.
