About me

With over 20 years of experience supporting adolescents, and adults, I take a mind-body approach to therapy. I specialize in integrating Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with principles from Polyvagal Theory. This combined approach allows us to look beyond symptom management. Together, we will address both the impact of past experiences and how your nervous system responds to stress in real time— helping you build long-term resilience and supporting your mental well being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I provide a welcoming, non-judgmental space where we can begin getting to know each other. Together, we will explore what brings you to therapy along with your unique strengths and goals. We will move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you. My goal is to help you feel heard, seen, and empowered as we begin building a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My goal is to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and supported as you navigate life’s challenges. Whether you are working through personal struggles, family dynamics, or life transitions, I am dedicated to walking alongside you to foster resilience, connection, and meaningful growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am passionate about working with motivated individuals who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives, particularly those navigating the impacts of trauma. My goal is to cultivate a therapeutic space that is compassionate, attuned, and deeply collaborative — meeting you exactly where you are with empathy and active engagement. Together, we will process your experiences, honor your unique pace, and build practical tools to foster resilience, connection, self-compassion, and lasting personal growth.

My treatment methods

EMDR

Trauma and chronic stress don't just live in our thoughts—they live in our bodies and nervous systems. Using a Polyvagal-informed EMDR approach, I help you reprocess painful memories while actively tracking your body's stress responses. We move at a pace that keeps your nervous system feeling regulated and safe. This dual approach untangles past trauma while retraining your body to release anxiety and shutdown, allowing you to return to a natural state of calm, safety, and balance.

Strength-Based

Therapy shouldn’t just be about diagnosing problems—it should be about helping you recognize your inherent worth and capabilities. Through a strength-based approach, I focus on identifying the resilience, wisdom, and personal tools you already possess. Together, we shift the narrative from "what is wrong with you" to "what is right with you," using your natural strengths to overcome anxiety, process past trauma, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented, practical approach that helps you understand how your thoughts influence your emotions and actions. Together, we identify automatic negative thought patterns—like overthinking or preparing for the worst—that fuel anxiety, panic, or low mood. By learning to reframe these thoughts and try out new coping behaviors, you can break painful cycles, feel more in control, and build practical skills to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
