Hello, My name is Lauren Badach. I have been a family nurse practitioner working with pediatric/adolescent population for 12 years, and 6 years with a specialty in mental health. After working in a primary pediatric office for several years, I saw a need and developed a passion for mental health. I went back to school to become a board certified in psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner as well. I am based in Florida and really enjoy helping children, adolescents, and young adults through the difficult transitions early on to help set them up for success.
During the first visit, I would like to learn about you and what your strengths and struggles are. We will talk about what your expectations are, what your goals are, and how I can help you reach those goals. The goal for the first visit is to ensure I can help you succeed and develop a personalized treatment plan to meet your goals.
Some of my greatest strengths are listening and understanding the goal of both the family and the client. I am warm, positive while being realistic, and want each patient to feel comfortable.
I enjoy working with anxious or depressed patient struggling with transitions in life related to school, home life, transitioning into adulthood, and learning how to balance life. Sometimes ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, panic or other symptoms wreak havoc on emotions. I am here to assist with medication management and brief therapy to ensure you are treated as an individual. I can order genesight genetic testing if medications are troublesome, but most importantly make sure the appropriate symptoms are being treated.
