About me

My path to counseling grew from my love of music and education, where I discovered her passion for helping others find their voice and confidence. I value the role of spirituality and faith in emotional, mental, and physical healing. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family and German Shepherd, Rocco, as well as teaching piano, voice, and theatre, traveling, gardening, and cooking.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will review the intake form and get to know each other better. We will discuss what goals you have for your therapy journey and develop a treatment plan, tailored to those specific goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am passionate about helping people grow, heal and discover confidence in who they are. I am empathetic, open minded, supportive, and easy to talk to. I use a flexible, person-centered approach and tailor therapy to each individual’s needs, goals, and experiences. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, I help clients build insight, develop practical skills, and move toward meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I take a flexible, person-centered approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals. I work with children, teens, and adults, specializing in ADHD, college mental health, life transitions, and anxiety. I feel that therapy is a safe, non-judgmental space for people to work through whatever difficulties they are facing. My ideal client may just feel "stuck" and "overwhelmed" with transitional periods of life such as career change, going off to college, graduating high school, attending public school versus home school, etc. When life feels overwhelming, it is difficult to get motivated on your own at times. Just knowing that there is someone to talk things through with who can teach coping and mindfulness strategies can make a huge difference. Everyone needs someone that supports them unconditionally, yet holds them accountable. My purpose as a therapist is to help clients work through the overwhelm effectively so they can make progress and move forward with life.

My treatment methods

Positive Psychology

"I integrate Positive Psychology into my work by helping clients recognize and build on their strengths, rather than just focusing on what’s not working. Together, we explore what brings meaning, joy, and purpose into their lives, and use those insights to create lasting change. By cultivating gratitude, resilience, and self-compassion, clients learn to shift their mindset from simply ‘getting by’ to truly thriving—one small, intentional step at a time."

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

"I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients train their minds to think and respond in ways that support the life they want to create. Together, we look at the thought patterns that tend to keep them stuck and learn how to shift those into more balanced, empowering perspectives. Through simple, practical tools, clients start to notice how changing their thoughts naturally changes their behaviors—allowing them to feel more in control, confident, and connected in their daily lives."

Eclectic

"I practice an eclectic approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals."
