Hello and welcome! I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a year and a half of dedicated experience in mental health care. I'm passionate about helping individuals navigate a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders,

raumer, ADHD, conflict iddues, grief, personality disorders, new social relationships roles, OCD, and more. My approach is compassionate, patient- centered, and collaborative. I believe every person deserves to be heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we'll work to create a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals, whether that includes medication management, supportive therapy, or lifestyle strategies to help you feel your best.
First session
In your first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brought you to my practice. We'll talk about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental history, and any medications you've taken before, so I can get a full picture of what's going on.
Strengths
My greatest strengths include, but are not limited to, synthesizing patient history, applying evidence-based practice, ensuring diagnostic safety, and creating a nonjudgmental environment. I book beyond symptoms to consider sleep, stress, environmental, and social factors.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who is open, engaged, and willing to collaborate in their care. I work with individuals experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, insomnia, or OCD. What is most important is their willingness to consistently attend virtual appointments and actively participate in their treatment process. Also, I support individuals navigating challenges such as grief, divorce, and adjusting to new roles in their social relationships.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Most mental health diagnoses, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD, affect thoughts and feelings. CBT helps identify and change unhelpful thinking patterns.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
CPT is used for recovery from trauma. For example, it teaches patients with PTSD how their thoughts affect their emotions and behavior.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT helps patients with suicidal ideation, personality disorders, eating disorders, and substance abuse disorders develop awareness of their thoughts and feelings rather than reacting to them.
Interpersonal
IPT helps patients deal with conflict , grief, role transitions, and difficulties in social relationships. It focuses on the current issues rather than the past, helping patients develop healthier ways of relating to others.
Relational
It is used for most mental health conditions to explore how a patient's past relationships shape their emotions and how the relational experience can help promote healing.
