I’m a licensed psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, and life transitions. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without judgment, while also feeling supported enough to explore the patterns, thoughts, and experiences that may be keeping them stuck. In my work, I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients build insight, develop healthier coping skills, and improve emotional regulation and communication. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and grounded in real-life change, so I focus on helping clients not only understand what they’re going through, but also build practical tools they can use outside of sessions.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

When we work together, you can expect a space that is both supportive and focused on progress. I take time to understand your experiences while helping you build practical strategies to manage stress, improve confidence, and navigate challenges more effectively. My style is collaborative and active. We won’t just talk through concerns, we’ll work on skills you can apply in your daily life. I use evidence-based approaches while tailoring each session to fit your specific needs and goals. Above all, I aim to help you feel more clear, capable, and in control of where you’re headed.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I balance insight-oriented work with practical, real-life tools that clients can actually use outside of session. I focus on helping clients understand the “why” behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while also supporting them in making meaningful and sustainable changes in their daily lives. I integrate various therapeutic modalities to meet each client where they are, tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals. Additionally, I place strong emphasis on emotional safety, collaboration, and building a strong therapeutic relationship, as I believe real growth happens when clients feel both supported and challenged in a healthy way. Clients often leave sessions with increased self-awareness, improved coping skills, and a greater sense of control over their emotions and relationships. My goal is not just symptom reduction, but helping clients feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with the life they want to build.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with teens, young adults, adults, and older adults who are feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or life transitions. Whether you’re navigating school, career changes, relationships, or trying to find clarity in your next steps, I’m here to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control. My approach is warm, supportive, and goal-oriented. Therapy with me is not just about talking, it’s about creating real meaningful change. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, I offer a warm, collaborative space to explore challenges, build on strengths, and move toward healing. When you're ready, I’m here to help you take the next step.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge distorted thinking patterns, cognitive traps, and automatic thoughts that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or difficulty navigating life stressors. Together, we work to reframe unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier perspectives, and create new associations that support emotional growth, confidence, and long-term behavioral change. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness and learn practical strategies that empower them to move beyond limiting beliefs and improve their overall functioning.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate DBT skills to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. I enjoy helping clients develop healthier coping strategies while also challenging perspectives and behaviors that may be preventing personal growth. DBT techniques can be especially helpful for improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, navigating conflict, and strengthening relationships. I often use these skills to support clients in building more stable connections, increasing prosocial functioning, and developing a stronger sense of community and self-worth.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility and develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Rather than focusing solely on eliminating distress, ACT encourages clients to accept uncomfortable emotions while learning how to move toward a life that aligns with their values and goals. I help clients identify patterns of avoidance, self-criticism, or emotional struggle that may be keeping them stuck and support them in developing mindfulness, self-compassion, and intentional actions that promote long-term growth and fulfillment.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) concepts to help clients better understand the different “parts” of themselves and how these internal experiences influence emotions, relationships, behaviors, and self-perception. IFS can help clients explore protective patterns, inner criticism, unresolved wounds, and conflicting emotions with greater curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. My goal is to help clients build a stronger connection with themselves, improve emotional awareness, and create healing by understanding the underlying needs driving their thoughts and behaviors.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I utilize Trauma-Focused CBT to support children, adolescents, and young adults in processing traumatic experiences and reducing the emotional and behavioral impact trauma can have on daily functioning. Through TF-CBT, I help clients identify connections between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and past experiences while developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and increased feelings of safety and empowerment. My approach focuses on helping clients process difficult experiences at a pace that feels supportive and manageable while strengthening resilience and emotional wellbeing.
