Thank you for trusting me with your care. I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. My practice focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard and respected. I work collaboratively with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with other healthcare providers when appropriate. Whether you're seeking care for ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma, or other mental health concerns, my goal is to help you achieve lasting wellness and improve your quality of life. I look forward to partnering with you on your mental health journey.
First session
Your first visit is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, and your goals for treatment. Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication recommendations, therapy strategies, lifestyle changes, lab work, or referrals if needed. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions, and my goal is for you to leave with a clear understanding of the next steps. My priority is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment. I look forward to partnering with you on your mental health journey.
Strengths
I believe every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported. I bring a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach while combining evidence-based care with practical solutions tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to create a collaborative partnership where we focus on your strengths, build resilience, and develop a treatment plan that helps you achieve meaningful, lasting progress.
Ideal clients
I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and take an active role in their mental health journey. Whether you're navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, life transitions, or everyday stress, I welcome patients who value a collaborative approach and are open to developing practical, evidence-based strategies for lasting change. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel empowered to grow, heal, and achieve your personal goals.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques into medication management visits to help patients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and practice practical strategies to manage symptoms between appointments. CBT interventions may include challenging negative thoughts, problem-solving, behavioral activation, anxiety management, exposure planning when appropriate, improving organizational skills for ADHD, and developing healthy routines for sleep, stress, and emotional regulation. My goal is to provide patients with practical tools they can use in everyday life while supporting their overall treatment plan.
