Dr. Lister is a board certified psychiatrist who who graduated from residency at Authority Health, affiliated with Michigan State University. He specializes in treating many psychiatric conditions in adults and seniors from ADHD, bipolar, depression, schizophrenia, and more. He aims to address your concerns in a respectful and collaborative manner and will work with you towards your goals and mental well-being.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During an intake appointment, we spend time going through your current symptoms, medical history, psychiatric history, social history, and more. We evaluate these dimensions together to see what has or has not worked for you in the past and make a plan forward to create or build on progress towards your better mental well being.

Psychoeducation
Psychoeducation involves teaching patients and their families about mental health conditions, their symptoms, causes, and treatments. It helps individuals better understand their experiences, manage symptoms, and engage more effectively in treatment. By increasing insight and reducing stigma, psychoeducation promotes empowerment and recovery.
