LMFT, 5 years of experience
I am a dual-licensed clinician committed to supporting individuals in achieving their personal and therapeutic goals. My approach to therapy is collaborative, focusing on enhancing clients’ existing strengths while cultivating new skills to more effectively manage life’s challenges. Drawing from a diverse range of evidence-based clinical modalities, I aim to promote increased self-awareness, emotional resilience, strong self-worth, and sustainable personal growth.
During the initial appointment, patients can expect a comprehensive clinical assessment that includes questions about their current functioning, symptoms, personal history, and other relevant areas. This process is designed to inform the development of an individualized treatment plan. In addition to a thorough evaluation, patients can also expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they are welcomed just as they are.
My greatest strengths as a clinician include empathy, authenticity, collaboration, honesty, and compassion. I strive to be informative and goal-oriented, working alongside clients to support meaningful and lasting change.
I work most effectively with clients who are motivated to pursue meaningful change and are committed to their personal growth. I am particularly attuned to individuals who are ready to engage in thoughtful self-exploration with curiosity, courage, and authenticity—those who are open to vulnerability and willing to trust themselves as they navigate the healing process.
I often use EFT to facilitate an opportunity for the patient to recognize their relational patterns and emotional reactions to situations that cause them significant distress.
I use CBT to assist patients in effectively managing ruminating thoughts that causes them distress and help them gain insight into their core beliefs.
As a clinician that provides DBT treatment method, I find it most useful in helping patients increase emotional regulation and distress-tolerance in order to gain coping skills for their daily stressors.
I have been practicing psychoanalytic therapy the past 5 years. I utilize this treatment modality in helping patients develop a cohesive sense of self and understand where their relational patterns stem from.
