I am particularly adept at supporting patients through life transitions, addressing childhood behavioral issues, and managing Depression and Anxiety. My clinical expertise extends to working with diverse populations including individuals facing developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and those who have experienced head injuries. In addition to my clinical practice I am deeply involved in the training of service dogs, a passion project that underscores my commitment to therapeutic and supportive care. This involvement reflects my dedication to improving the quality of life for individuals through various therapeutic avenues. Welcome to therapy, and I look forward to working with you.
The first session is extremely important because it allows an opportunity to begin the process of getting to know one another. We will begin to develop a treatment plan which will be reviewed whenever we are meeting.
Because I have had the honor of working with clients for many years, I have several clinical approaches which are available. Prior to engaging in treatment, I will discuss with you the approaches which I believe will best meet your needs. The approaches that I use most frequently are: Attachment-Based Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.
My greatest strengths are generated by the work that I am doing with patients. As the patient, you are able to guide me to make available the interventions that will most benefit you and the process of healing. I am absolutely convinced that anyone and everyone can find the peace that you deserve. I am looking forward to our working together soon.
My ideal client is someone who is seeking an opportunity to make changes in their life. My role, is to assist you in this process.
