About me

Starting therapy can be daunting, but I’m honored you’re considering me. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care. I specialize in chronic illnesses, anxiety, depression, and issues of codependency/addiction. I understand that managing a chronic health condition can affect all aspects of life, and you don’t have to face those challenges alone. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you understand yourself, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to overcome challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, expect compassion, honesty, and encouragement. I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, challenged, and supported. Whether you’re adjusting to a new diagnosis, coping with chronic illness, working toward recovery, or struggling with anxiety or depression, I’ll meet you where you are. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move toward your desired life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths include helping clients cope with the emotional impact of chronic illness, including anxiety, depression, grief, identity changes, caregiver stress, chronic pain, and balancing treatment with everyday life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to serve clients with chronic illnesses, anxiety, depression, and addiction. My ideal client is an adult ready to invest in their emotional well-being, even if they’re unsure where to start. They may be living with a chronic illness, dealing with anxiety or depression, or recovering from addiction. Many feel overwhelmed by daily demands, adjusting to life changes, or neglecting their own needs. They seek a compassionate, authentic, and respectful therapist who provides practical tools for change. Together, we’ll explore patterns that keep them stuck, strengthen coping strategies, and work toward goals aligned with their values and desired life. Whether seeking support after a diagnosis, coping with chronic health impacts, managing anxiety or depression, or building a foundation for recovery, therapy can heal, grow, and rediscover strengths. My goal is to empower, resilient, and confident you move forward.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps identify the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll explore unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, addiction, or difficulties adjusting to chronic illness. By recognizing these patterns, you can begin to replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking and responding.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps people develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts, emotions, and life experiences instead of struggling to avoid or control them. Rather than eliminating emotional pain, ACT focuses on building psychological flexibility—the ability to navigate challenges while continuing to live a meaningful, values-driven life.
