Hi there, I'm Jamie. I have been treating adults, individuals, and couples for several years in private practice. I have assisted clients in discovering of their strengths, building a support system, and developing healthy lifestyles to set the foundation for life success. I help with all different types of issues, from communication, anger, and intimacy, to trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use. My evidence-based approaches allow me to effectively address emotional and behavioral issues for clients from diverse backgrounds, with years of experience helping trauma survivors.
It's always hard to come and ask for help, especially when it's from someone you don't know! I have a very conversational style and get to know each one of my clients. Yes, we'll have to talk about some hard things, but that doesn't mean that it's all going to be heavy and hard. Therapy is about building a relationship and starting the healing process, which we all deserve.
My strengths are my experience andm y passion for this work. I believe in this work, and I practice what I preach!
