I am a professional counselor licensed to practice in Arizona and Wisconsin. I specialize in community wellness and business development. I have extensive history and certifications in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care. It is my mission to bring healthier perspectives and a plan of wellness to our communities impacted by trauma and toxic stress. My approach is very down to earth and matter of fact. My personal and professional development has inspired me to see wellness differently than most providers. I have learned that the responsibility of a provider is to support and develop the client's perspective through validation, education and healthy patterns. My clients and I use concepts like neuroscience, epigenetics, ACES and resiliency to work through thought reframing while concurrently working through nervous system stabilization with somatic and holistic interventions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session with a new therapist can be overwhelming. Our first session will consist of us establishing rapport and making sure we are on the same page with what you want your therapeutic process to look like. We will talk about what treatment planning looks like and what your expectations are for care. Please feel free to come with questions and anything you may need to support your comfort like a fidget or notepad.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am not your typical therapist. My unique style prioritizes feelings of safety, acceptance and empowerment. I feel my greatest strength is my ability to challenge and empower clients at the same time I am holding space and allowing them to feel safe and secure in their own emotions.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I have extensive training and certifications supporting clients who are working through past traumas and/or toxic stress. My dual approach empowers perspective development and nervous system regulation. This process is often based on the client’s window of tolerance and can take significant time and dedication beyond each session.
