About me

With 16 years in healthcare as a clinician and leader, I help healthcare professionals, physicians, and leaders in high-stakes roles work through burnout, compassion fatigue, trauma, and identity shifts. I offer virtual, telehealth therapy across California, using ACT, CBT, CPT, and mindfulness woven in. My approach is direct, warm, and grounded.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a conversation. We'll talk about what brought you in — a hard case, a promotion that changed everything, or a stretch of running on empty longer than you'd like to admit. I'll ask questions about your history and what's happening right now, so I can get a real read on where you're stuck and what you actually want to change. You'll leave with a clearer sense of what's actually going on, one or two things you can try before we meet again, and a real read on whether we're a good fit—because you finally said the thing out loud to someone who understands your world.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Peer-level healthcare experience, real clinical depth, and trauma-informed, direct, no-jargon sessions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You're a healthcare professional, mental health therapist, physician, or clinical leader — the one everyone else relies on to stay calm, make the call, and hold the room together. Underneath that, you're running on empty and quietly convinced you should be handling it better on your own. You want real clarity and practical tools you can actually use. And you want to figure out what this work has cost you, and what you want it to look like going forward.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you notice the connection between what you're thinking, how you're feeling, and what you end up doing — especially the automatic thoughts that kick in after a hard shift, a difficult case, or a decision that's still weighing on you. Once we can see those patterns clearly, we work on shifting them, so the same situation doesn't keep triggering the same spiral. Over time, this gives you a set of tools you can use on your own, in the moment, without needing to bring every hard day into session.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help you stop fighting the thoughts and feelings that come with high-stakes work — the guilt, the exhaustion, the self-doubt — and instead learn to carry them without letting them run the show. Rather than trying to eliminate stress or "fix" every hard emotion, we focus on what actually matters to you: the kind of clinician, leader, or person you want to be, even on the days that feel impossible. Over time, this builds your ability to act on your values instead of reacting to whatever the day throws at you.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I use CPT to help you work through a specific traumatic event or difficult case that's still affecting you — often something that shows up as guilt, replaying the moment, or a belief about yourself that changed after it happened ("I should have caught that," "I can't trust my judgment anymore"). We look closely at how that event changed the way you think about yourself, others, or your work, and work through those beliefs so they carry less weight. This is structured, short-term work with a clear focus — not open-ended talk therapy — built for people ready to process something specific and move forward from it.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I weave mindfulness into our work to help you notice what's happening in your body and mind in real time — before stress, overwhelm, or a hard decision pulls you into autopilot. This isn't about clearing your mind or achieving calm on demand; it's about building the ability to pause, notice what's actually going on, and respond deliberately instead of just reacting. For people in high-stakes roles, this often becomes one of the most practical tools you walk away with — something you can use in the middle of a shift, not just in session.
