At Prosper Counseling we realize that one type of therapy does not fit all clients. Individual therapy is as individual as the client. We develop treatment plans for the person collaboratively sitting in front of us. While we do specialize in certain areas as individual counselors, we are prepared to serve the needs of those who are willing to help in the process. Below you will find a partial list of areas that we can assist with: We offer a wide range of services to meet every type of need. Our counselors see clients who are 18 and above, but in special circumstances, accommodations may be considered for young adults above the age of 14 with parental/guardian consent.
In our first session we will go over the intake paperwork that was filled out and get to know each other so we can determine if we are both a good fit for each other. We will also begin to get into the history of what brings you in for counseling.
The use of an eclectic mixture of modalities of treatment ensures the best fit for each unique individual who seeks help.
I feel the strengths I bring into our counseling sessions will be my compassionate listening skills, directness, and sense of humor.
I love working with clients that see a earnest need to work on the challenges they face and hope to enrich their lives by learning tools to assist them in those challenges.

It was only our first session. I'm neither pessimistic or optimistic at this point. I'm hoping he can help to mend the things in myself that are broken along with my relationships.
