As a Licensed Professional Counselor I have been extremely blessed with the opportunity to help my client's find their light through life's most darkest of times. For over 10 years I have worked with children, individual and families in various settings. I am very passionate about counseling and committed to helping the clients that I serve to restore peace and find solace in difficult times. A few of my therapeutic approaches include CBT, Mindfulness, Integrative therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. My previous work experience includes providing individual, marital and family counseling in private practice settings, Crisis/Intake Team Leader, former owner of New Solutions DUI & Defensive Driving School where I provided alcohol and drug education classes and served as a treatment provider for the Multiple Offender Treatment Program of Georgia.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the initial session, I strive to make my clients will comfortable and supported. I like for my clients to feel heard so I want hear in your own words what your presenting concerns are. We will also begin to identify your areas of concern and together, we will create a plan and set goals to help guide you through the therapy process. I also leave time on the end of the session to allow for questions, clarify any misunderstandings and to discuss a plan for follow up sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My approach to therapy is a more Person-Centered and few other therapeutic approaches to treatment include CBT, Integrative Therapy, REBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. I understand that therapy is not a one size fits all so I attempt tailor my techniques to what best suits my client's presenting issues and concerns.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with client experiencing various issues including anxiety, depression, conflict resolution, stress management, family and personal crisis, but my biggest strengths are helping clients overcome negative thoughts that have prevented them from progressing in many areas of their life.
