Hello! I'm Lindsey Tatum, a Nurse Practitioner deeply committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care. With board certifications in both Family Nursing and Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, my career has allowed me to develop a strong foundation in patient management, clinical judgment, and effective communication. My practice is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorders, ADHD, Opioid Use Disorder (Suboxone treatment), Alcohol Use Disorder and many other areas with an approach that is client centered and individualized. I am so proud of you for seeking help and cannot wait for us to work together to help you find the best version of yourself. In my telehealth psychiatric practice, I am committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to each individual's needs. A few of the principles that I focus on include: Client-Centered Care, Continuous Engagement, and Empowerment/Education. I prioritize understanding each client’s unique experiences, values, and goals. By building a collaborative relationship, I ensure that treatment plans are aligned with their personal needs and preferences. My clients should leave our sessions feeling supported, heard and valued. I also encourage self reflection and realization to allow personal growth and foster positive changes. I am passionate about partnering with my patients on their health journey, listening to their needs, and providing the support they deserve. Together, we can work towards a healthier and happier you.
A first session with me is a welcoming and collaborative experience, designed to create a safe, open space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. We’ll start by getting to know each other—I'll ask about what brought you in, what you’re hoping to work on, and any goals or concerns you may have. I take a whole-person approach, so in addition to discussing mental health symptoms, I may ask about your physical health, lifestyle, spirituality, and support systems to better understand you in context. This session is also about building trust and connection. You can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental atmosphere where you’re encouraged to speak freely. I’ll introduce the treatment modalities I use—such as CBT, motivational interviewing, faith-based support, and compassion-focused techniques—and we’ll talk about what resonates with you. Together, we’ll begin crafting a personalized, integrative care plan that supports your healing, growth, and goals. My intention is for you to leave the session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful—knowing you're not alone on this journey. ***Please makes sure to complete ALL new patient paperwork ATLEAST 24 hours prior to the first appointment.*** Cash pay Cost: New Patient- $300 Follow up- $175
What sets me apart as a provider is a deep-rooted compassion and unwavering belief in each person’s potential for healing and transformation. I bring not only clinical expertise and years of experience, but also genuine empathy, active listening, and an ability to see the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Clients often share that they feel truly seen and safe in our work together. That’s because I meet people where they are, without judgment, and with a heartfelt desire to walk alongside them as they uncover the strongest, most authentic version of themselves. I have a “no-quit” attitude when it comes to your growth and well-being—if something isn’t working, we pivot; if challenges arise, we face them together. My care is grounded in presence, purpose, and persistence. I’m not just here to treat symptoms—I’m here to help you rise, thrive, and reclaim your life with courage and clarity. I love working with clients who are committed to being the best version of their self. Clients who are willing to put in the hard work and dedication to apply self reflection and life applications for change.

Lindsey is warm, easy to talk to, and for the first time in a very long time I felt heard and seen, that my concerns are important. I look forward to my next appointment with her.

Lindsey did a wonderful job listening to my story and was very understanding of my situation. We had a great session that has given me so much hope. I have already referred a friend to her to use.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is used to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that may be impacting their mood, behaviors, and relationships.
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) principles are interwoven to help clients cultivate inner kindness, reduce self-criticism, and develop a more nurturing inner voice—especially helpful for those with trauma histories or chronic shame.
Faith-based approaches are integrated for clients who desire spiritual guidance as part of their mental wellness journey, incorporating prayer, scripture, or spiritual dialogue in a way that aligns with their beliefs. I also provide supportive therapy, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered.
Motivational Interviewing supports clients in exploring their own motivations for change, enhancing self-efficacy, and moving through ambivalence with clarity and compassion.
Supportive therapy forms the backbone of my clinical approach, providing clients with a consistent, compassionate, and emotionally safe space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship itself as a source of healing—offering validation, encouragement, and stability. I use supportive therapy to help clients process current stressors, manage symptoms, and strengthen their coping skills. This approach is especially helpful during times of transition, grief, or emotional overwhelm, and can be blended seamlessly with other modalities like CBT, motivational interviewing, and faith-based support. Through active listening, affirming strengths, and fostering emotional resilience, supportive therapy helps clients feel deeply seen, accepted, and empowered on their journey toward wellness.
