Homer Couch
My name is Homer Couch PMHNP-BC, and I am a board‑certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence‑based mental‑health care across the lifespan. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, offering individualized treatment plans that support each patient’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. My clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and a full spectrum of mood disorders, including complex and co‑occurring conditions. I believe in a collaborative approach to care—one that values open communication, patient education, and shared decision‑making. My goal is to help patients feel understood, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment journey. I utilize a combination of medication management, therapeutic guidance, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safe, effective, and personalized care. Whether a patient is navigating new symptoms, managing long‑standing conditions, or seeking stability and improved quality of life, I am committed to providing thoughtful, consistent, and respectful support. Above all, I strive to create a welcoming environment where patients of all ages feel comfortable discussing their mental‑health concerns and confident in the care they receive. It is my privilege to walk alongside each patient as they work toward greater wellness, resilience, and balance.

Strengths
"I believe in second chances. Many places will make you feel like a number, however, I treat you as an individual. "
Ideal clients
I treat all types of people with respect, and my ideal client is one that is ready to be happy and stable with their mental health. My main goal for all my clients is to help them get stable and for them to be happy and content with their lives. I want them to be able to thrive with their lives.
Treatment methods
Supportive
Supportive therapy is one of the most widely used, practical, and effective approaches in mental‑health treatment. It’s grounded in strengthening a patient’s psychological resources, improving coping skills, and providing a stable therapeutic relationship that promotes safety, insight, and resilience.
