Hi there, I'm Mandy. Are you teenager feeling stuck, held back from the life you truly want to live? Life’s challenges—stress, pain, and unresolved experiences—often settle in our bodies, shaping how we move through the world. These experiences impact our nervous system, relationships, and sense of safety until we learn to work with them. By gently turning toward these parts of ourselves, we create space for healing and growth. My goal is to support you or your teen to feel heard, seen, and empowered to transform these challenges. Through mind-body-spirit integration, you'll reconnect, find balance, and discover what transformation means for you.
In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other. I'll invite you to share what has led you to seek therapy at this point in your life, and we'll discuss your goals and hopes for our work together. This is also an opportunity for us to determine if we're the right fit for one another, and if my skillset can support you on your journey. You are welcome to ask any questions you may have about my approach as a therapist or about therapy in general.
Whether you’re a teen navigating emotional or family challenges or an adult seeking deeper connection, reconnecting with your mind, body, and spirit can rebuild trust in yourself, fostering self-love and wholeness. If this speaks to you, you’re already showing courage. I’d love to support you—reach out when you’re ready.
I work with adults and teens 13+, especially around anxiety, depression, school issues, family dynamics, relationships, and attachment patterns. My specialization extends to supporting individuals and families impacted by addiction, helping them navigate the unique challenges that arise in these circumstances. Whether you are a teen managing the ripple effects of a parent's substance use or an adult unpacking the impact of growing up in an environment shaped by addiction, I bring compassion and expertise to our work together. With training in somatic therapy, I meet you or your teen where you are, honoring your unique lived experience. Together, we’ll focus on your needs and build on your strengths to support meaningful, lasting transformation. My practice is best suited for those who have a certain level of stability and are not currently in crisis. Together, we will build on the strengths and resources you already possess to promote growth and healing. My background is deeply informed by my expertise in 12-step recovery, which provides a compassionate and structured approach to addressing the complex challenges of addiction and its impact on individuals and families. Having worked extensively with clients affected by substance use, I draw from the principles of 12-step recovery to support healing, self-awareness, and personal growth. This perspective allows me to offer a unique understanding of the struggles faced by both those in recovery and their loved ones. Whether navigating codependency, rebuilding trust, or fostering healthier relationships, I bring a wealth of knowledge and empathy to guide clients in their journey toward resilience and recovery. My experience helps me connect meaningfully with individuals seeking to break generational cycles of dysfunction and build a foundation of lasting emotional well-being.
Incorporating somatic-based therapy, I help clients reconnect with their bodies to release stored tension and emotional blockages. By using techniques like body awareness, breathwork, movement, and grounding exercises, we address the mind-body connection to foster healing. This approach supports nervous system regulation, helping clients feel more grounded, present, and empowered. Each session is personalized to guide clients in recognizing how their bodies hold emotional experiences and create space for physical and emotional release, promoting long-lasting transformation.
I integrate attachment theory into sessions to help clients explore how early relationships shape their emotional experiences and behaviors. By understanding attachment patterns, we work to identify and heal any disruptions that may affect current relationships and self-perception. Techniques such as building secure emotional connections, fostering trust, and exploring past relational dynamics are central to creating healthier connections with others. This approach is tailored to each client, helping them develop a deeper sense of safety and emotional resilience in their relationships.
I integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) into sessions to help clients identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. Through techniques like thought reframing, cognitive restructuring, and practical problem-solving, clients gain clarity and develop healthier coping strategies. CBT empowers clients to challenge negative beliefs, build resilience, and cultivate a more balanced perspective on life's challenges. Combined with other approaches, this method is tailored to each individual’s unique needs, fostering personal growth and transformation.
