(she/her)
I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Focused Mental Health Services. I provide individualized, trauma-informed care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. My approach combines clinical expertise with a warm, supportive presence to help clients feel safe, seen, and empowered as they work toward clarity, balance, and emotional wellness. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal and grow.
In our first session at Focused Mental Health Services, clients can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space to share their story. We’ll begin by reviewing your intake forms and discussing your mental health history, current symptoms, and treatment goals. I may ask questions about your emotional well-being, physical health, lifestyle, and support systems to get a well-rounded understanding of your needs. If appropriate, we’ll also discuss medication options, though there is never any pressure to move in that direction. This session is focused on building trust and ensuring you feel seen, heard, and supported as we begin your care.
My greatest strengths as a provider include my ability to listen deeply, hold space without judgment, and tailor care to each client’s unique experience. I bring both clinical knowledge and emotional intuition to my work, which helps clients feel understood and supported on every level. I’m committed to being present, consistent, and compassionate — creating a therapeutic environment where healing can unfold at your own pace.
I’m best positioned to serve adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, and major life transitions. At Focused Mental Health Services, I provide a grounded and compassionate space for clients who are ready to explore the root causes of their emotional challenges. My approach is both trauma-informed and holistic, and especially supportive for those seeking focused care that honors the whole person — not just a diagnosis.
Compassion Focused
I believe healing begins with being truly seen, heard, and held without judgment. My approach to care is rooted in compassion, presence, and deep respect for each individual’s lived experience. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, valued, and supported — especially during vulnerable moments. Compassion-based care means I meet you where you are, honor your pace, and walk alongside you as we move toward insight, balance, and transformation.

From the moment I mer Ms. Milton I felt comfortable and could feel she was engaged in listening to me. Her questions were exacting without leading. Any follow up question helped me to understand why she asked for more information. I feel a definite connection in seeing me progress to better mental health and am supported in my journey.

I originally came into contact with her through another office. Her warm and caring nature is what shines through along with her personality. She actually cares about her patients and is willing to do what she can to help.
