Welcome to my practice. I am so glad you are here! I am a Clinical Social Worker in the District of Columbia, and Maryland. For over twenty years, I have been supporting individuals, and families, through life's challenges. I have dedicated my practice to helping adolescents, and adults, navigate anxiety, depression, adhd, and executive function. I am passionate about supporting parents struggling with prenatal and postnatal loss, anxiety, and depression. My practice is also committed to helping students with the transition to new academic settings. I have an affinity for working with those suffering suicide loss. My life experience and professional background have led me to be trauma informed and see things from an attachment point of view. I am well versed in crisis management. As a Clinical Social Worker, I come from a strengths based perspective and incorporate elements of mindfulness, physical movement, and cognitive behavioral therapy in my work with clients. I am holistic in my approach and solution focused. Together, we will develop new strategies, and implement coping skills, to support you in your daily life. We will collaborate to achieve your life goals and vision.
During our first meeting we will focus on building rapport, history gathering, and discuss why you are seeking therapy. Together, we will develop a plan to move you from surviving to thriving!
