I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes in a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where both therapist and client can show up authentically. I prioritize each client’s sense of safety and honor that trust is built over time. My approach is client-centered, relational, and trauma-informed. I love to laugh with my clients and also gently offer reflections, observations, and connections to support deeper insight. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from multiple modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2015, primarily in community-based settings, and I’m passionate about walking alongside clients as they reclaim their stories and build lives rooted in authenticity and self-trust.
In our first session together, my goal is to create a space that feels safe, curious, and collaborative. We'll begin by exploring what brings you to therapy and how your current struggles are showing up in your day-to-day life. You're always in control of how much you choose to share—there’s no pressure to dive into everything at once. We'll also talk about your goals and hopes for therapy, and I’ll ask about any past experiences you’ve had with counseling—what felt helpful, what didn’t, and what you might be looking for this time around. The first session is really about getting to know each other and beginning to build a relationship rooted in trust and mutual understanding.
My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my trauma-informed approach and ability to create a genuine, authentic space where clients feel safe and heard. With years of experience in community mental health, I’m well-equipped to work with a diverse range of populations, diagnoses, backgrounds, and struggles. I approach each client with an open mind, meeting them exactly where they are, and providing the support they need to heal, grow, and thrive. I’m also deeply committed to challenging the status quo, especially when it comes to navigating systemic issues and advocating for clients’ rights. My approach is rooted in a genuine passion for creating lasting change, empowering clients to reclaim their power and radical authenticity.
I specialize in supporting clients navigating PTSD and complex trauma, attachment, sexual violence, chronic pain and illness, domestic violence and emotional abuse, neurodivergence, mood disorders, eating disorders, suicidal ideation, systemic oppression, and identity exploration—including queer, kink, and non-traditional relationship identities.
