New to Grow
I am a compassionate, down-to-earth, and supportive therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. I provide a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My practice is grounded in a person-centered and strengths-based approach. I work collaboratively with clients to develop insight, build healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and focus on self-esteem, self-compassion, and self-care. I believe therapy is a partnership, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and work toward greater confidence, balance, and a more fulfilling life.
During our first session, we will take time to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals and hopes for our work together. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. Together, we will identify areas of focus and begin taking steps toward growth and positive change at a pace that feels right for you.
I bring a genuine, compassionate, and grounded presence to my sessions. My own experiences with life’s transitions and personal growth have deepened my empathy and understanding, allowing me to connect with clients with patience, curiosity, and authenticity. I strive to meet each person where they are and support them as they work toward greater self-awareness, confidence, and meaningful change.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves, navigate life’s transitions, and create meaningful change. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s responsibilities. Clients often seek a supportive space to gain clarity, reconnect with their strengths, and develop healthier coping skills. Together, we focus on building self-compassion, confidence, and tools to move forward with greater balance and purpose.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an approach that helps you explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we will identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or feeling stuck, and develop healthier ways of coping. My goal is to help you gain insight, build confidence, and create meaningful changes that support your overall well-being.
Compassion Focused
I use a compassion-focused approach to help clients develop a kinder and more supportive relationship with themselves. Together, we explore patterns of self-criticism, shame, or feelings of not being “enough,” while building self-compassion, understanding, and emotional resilience. My goal is to help clients practice greater self-acceptance and learn healthier ways to respond to life’s challenges.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
A person-centered approach focuses on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable being their authentic selves. I believe clients are the experts of their own experiences, and therapy is a collaborative process built on empathy, trust, and understanding. This approach allows clients to explore their feelings, values, and personal goals while feeling accepted and respected throughout their journey.
Strength-Based
A strength-based approach focuses on recognizing and building upon each client’s existing strengths, resilience, and personal resources. I help clients identify their abilities and use those strengths to support growth, healing, and meaningful change.
