New to Grow
I'm a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with dual training in psychiatry and family medicine, which means I look at mental health through the lens of the whole person — mind and body. I work with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, and my approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based care, and deep respect for what you bring into the room. I believe healing happens in spaces that feel safe, supportive, and free of judgment, and I'm here to help you build that. As a bilingual provider in English and Spanish, I'm committed to offering culturally sensitive care that honors your background, your story, and your goals.
Our first session is all about getting to know you. There's no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you're comfortable with — we'll move at your pace. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, your medical and mental health history, what's worked or hasn't worked in the past, and what you're hoping to gain from treatment. We'll also talk through any questions you have about medications, therapy, or how I work. By the end of our time together, you'll leave with a clearer sense of next steps and a treatment plan we've shaped together. My goal is for you to walk away feeling heard, respected, and a little more hopeful than when you arrived.
What sets my practice apart is the way I bring together my training in psychiatry and family medicine — I look at mental health in the context of the whole person, including how physical health, sleep, hormones, and lifestyle shape how you feel. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I take time to truly listen, explain things in plain language, and make them feel like a partner in their own care rather than a passive patient. I'm also bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to provide culturally sensitive care that meets clients where they are linguistically and culturally. Above all, I bring warmth, patience, and a deep belief that healing is possible — even when it doesn't feel that way yet.
My ideal client is an adult who is feeling stuck — whether that's by persistent anxiety, low mood, difficulty focusing, or the weight of major life changes — and is ready to do meaningful work to feel better. You don't need to have it all figured out; in fact, many of my clients come in unsure of what they need. What matters most is a willingness to engage honestly in the process. I work especially well with clients who appreciate a thoughtful, collaborative style that combines medication management (when appropriate) with real conversation about what's driving their symptoms. Together, we build a treatment plan that fits your life, your goals, and your values.

I identify as
Integrative
I combine evidence-based psychotherapy techniques with thoughtful medication management when appropriate. I pull from CBT, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and supportive therapy depending on the presenting concern and the client's goals. With anxiety or depression, I often start with skills-based CBT interventions while exploring the deeper context behind the symptoms. For ADHD or mood disorders, I integrate medication management with behavioral strategies and lifestyle work. I believe the best outcomes come from treating the whole person — biology, thoughts, emotions, and relationships — rather than focusing on symptoms in isolation.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients stop the exhausting struggle against difficult thoughts and emotions and instead build a life grounded in what truly matters to them. My approach blends mindfulness, defusion techniques, and values-based action, often using metaphor and experiential exercises. ACT works especially well for anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and clients who feel "stuck" despite knowing what they should do.
