I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based mental health care for adolescents and adults. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their healing journey. I work with individuals experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, stress, burnout, trauma-related symptoms, and difficulty with focus, sleep, or emotional regulation. I believe effective treatment begins with truly listening and understanding each person’s unique story, challenges, and goals. From there, I develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapeutic strategies tailored to each client’s needs. My practice is rooted in a holistic, mind-body perspective, recognizing the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. I value helping clients build insight, develop healthier coping skills, and make meaningful progress toward stability, confidence, and improved quality of life. Whether you are seeking support for the first time or looking for a provider who offers thoughtful and attentive care, my goal is to help you feel empowered, informed, and supported every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing what has been going on and what you hope to gain from treatment. We will talk through your current symptoms, mental health history, medical background, stressors, lifestyle factors, and previous experiences with therapy or medication. I want to understand the full picture of who you are, not just the symptoms you are experiencing. Together, we will discuss your goals, explore treatment options, and begin creating a plan that is personalized to your needs. If appropriate, we may also talk about medication management, coping strategies, and other supportive approaches that can help you feel better and function more effectively. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and clear about the next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to blend clinical expertise with compassion and genuine connection. I want clients to feel safe, heard, and understood while also receiving clear, effective, and evidence-based treatment. I take time to understand each person’s unique story and create individualized care plans that support both symptom relief and long-term wellness. My approach is collaborative, holistic, and practical. I do not just focus on diagnoses or medications alone—I also consider the emotional, physical, and lifestyle factors that may be affecting mental health. I work with clients to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create realistic treatment goals that lead to meaningful and lasting progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adolescents and adults who are seeking thoughtful, compassionate, and evidence-based psychiatric care. My ideal clients are individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood instability, stress, burnout, trauma-related symptoms, sleep difficulties, or challenges with emotional regulation. I work especially well with clients who want to better understand themselves, improve daily functioning, and develop practical tools to feel more balanced, focused, and emotionally well. I am a strong fit for clients who value a collaborative and holistic approach to treatment. Many of the individuals I work with are motivated for change but may feel overwhelmed, stuck, misunderstood, or unsure where to start. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard while we create a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, psychoeducation, and therapeutic strategies tailored to their goals. My aim is to help clients build stability, confidence, and lasting progress in both their mental health and overall well-being.

My treatment methods

Mind-body approach

My approach to treatment is holistic and rooted in the understanding that the mind and body are deeply connected. As a PMHNP, I help clients explore how factors like stress, sleep, nutrition, physical health, and lifestyle habits can influence mood, anxiety, focus, and overall emotional wellness. In practice, I combine evidence-based psychiatric treatment with practical, whole-person strategies that support healing and long-term balance. This may include medication management when appropriate, along with guidance around stress reduction, sleep hygiene, coping skills, and sustainable wellness habits. I aim to create a space where clients feel supported in caring for both their mental health and their overall well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

use principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I help individuals identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge negative thinking, and develop healthier coping strategies that support emotional wellness and daily functioning. I often incorporate CBT-informed techniques such as reframing distorted thoughts, improving problem-solving skills, building emotional awareness, and creating practical behavioral changes that align with a client’s goals. When appropriate, I integrate these strategies alongside medication management to provide a balanced, evidence-based treatment approach that promotes lasting growth and symptom improvement.

Compassion Focused

I use a compassion-focused approach to help clients develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience. In my practice, I support individuals who may struggle with self-criticism, shame, anxiety, depression, or trauma-related difficulties by helping them respond to themselves with greater kindness and understanding. I work with clients to recognize unhelpful internal patterns, reduce harsh self-judgment, and build healthier ways of coping with distress. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences while developing confidence, balance, and a stronger sense of emotional well-being. When appropriate, I integrate this approach with evidence-based medication management and other therapeutic strategies to provide holistic, personalized care.
