I work with LGBTQ+, intercultural, and interracial couples and individuals to help them understand one another by exploring their pasts and finding solutions to current stressors. By using Solution Focused Couples Therapy, I help couples and individuals understand their internal and external conflict, their triggers behind the conflict, and how to have healthier and more intimate relationships. I help couples and individuals process their past trauma while expressing their emotions to others around them. I specialize in working with couples and individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and growing up with family trauma. I look forward to working with you!
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I specialize in the following areas: Codependency, Coping Skills, Depression, Infidelity, Parenting Adolescents, Peer Relationships, Racial Identity, Self Esteem, Anxiety, Stress, Substance Use, Trauma and PTSD, Mental Health, Mood Disorders, Sexuality, and LGBTQ+. I am certified in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy and enjoy working with adolescents, couples, and individuals. I also specialize in working with African-American men and women dealing with suicidial ideation.
I love working with BIPOC folks, LGBTQ folks, and professionals who are in the first few years of their careers. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers.
