New to Grow
As a Filipino-Chinese immigrant and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I understand the unique challenges of navigating different cultures, identities, and life transitions. My own journey has deepened my appreciation for resilience, family, and the courage it takes to seek support. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and accepted. Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or personal growth, I will meet you where you are and partner with you in building a life that feels more fulfilling, connected, and authentic.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up just as you are.
Together, we'll explore the experiences that have shaped you, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and hope. I'll meet you where you are and honor your pace while gently challenging you when you're ready. If you're open to it, we'll thoughtfully explore the deeper experiences behind your struggles, always with compassion, support, and the belief that healing is possible.
I enjoy working with clients who are ready to invest in their healing journey. Whether you're just beginning or have been in therapy before, I welcome those who are open to exploring their experiences, reflecting on patterns, and embracing gentle challenges that can lead to meaningful growth. You don't have to be "fixed" or have all the answers before starting therapy.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts, beliefs, and past experiences influence the way they feel and respond to life's challenges. Together, we'll gently examine unhelpful patterns, explore new perspectives, and develop healthier ways of thinking that align with your values and goals. As your perspective begins to shift, you'll often find that your emotional responses and behaviors become more balanced, empowering you to navigate difficult situations with greater confidence, clarity, and resilience.
Christian Counseling
Emotional healing and spiritual growth can complement one another, and I strive to create a space where you can explore life's challenges through both a clinical and faith-based lens. My goal is to support you in strengthening your relationship with God while using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to promote healing, hope, and lasting change.
Couples Counseling
Couples counseling is designed to help bridge the gap between partners by creating a safe space where both individuals feel heard, understood, and valued. Using the Gottman Method, I help couples move beyond blame and recurring conflicts to better understand each other's perspectives, emotions, and underlying needs. Together, we'll strengthen communication, rebuild trust, deepen emotional connection, and develop practical tools to navigate challenges as a team rather than as opponents.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy approach that helps the brain process and heal from distressing experiences that may still be affecting you today. Rather than reliving every detail of the past, EMDR helps reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming. As your brain processes these experiences, many clients find they gain new perspectives, experience greater emotional freedom, and respond to life's challenges with increased confidence and resilience.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) helps you better understand and manage intense emotions while building practical skills for everyday life. Together, we'll work on developing mindfulness, healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication so you can respond to life's challenges with greater balance, confidence, and self-compassion.
