I’m a therapist with over 19 years of experience providing mental health services in outpatient and in-home settings. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups across all stages of life, helping clients navigate the challenges that arise from trauma, life transitions, emotional regulation, and relationship dynamics. In our first session will will give brief introductions and then dive right into what your specific goals are for treatment.

This technique is action-oriented and focuses on mindfulness, staying present, and behavior change without first changing or eliminating uncomfortable thoughts and feelings.
In therapy sessions the client will learn how to dispute cognitive distortions. CBT helps the become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so that they can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.
Its main goals are to teach people how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others.

Amy is understanding, thoughtful and patient which allows a client to come to their own conclusions, or be guided towards more introspective reflection before addressing root issues.
