New to Grow
I am a compassionate professional committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges in various stages of life. My approach is client-centered, where I work collaboratively with you to understand your unique experiences, goals, and strengths. I have over 10 years of experiences working with children and families navigating the foster care system and well as individuals overcoming acute psychiatric distress in the inpateint setting. I work with a range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I am particularly passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and gain deeper self-awareness. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult time or looking to make positive changes in your life, I am here to support you in building a fulfilling life one where you can experience happiness, a sense of contentment, and confidence in who you are.
You can anticipate your first session with me to be a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can begin to share their story at their own pace. During this initial session, we will talk about what brings you in, any current challenges you may be facing, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, background, and goals, while also giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the process. Together, we will begin identifying initial goals and what meaningful progress might look like for you. I take a collaborative approach, so you can expect to be actively involved in shaping the direction of our work.
My strengths as a therapist come from my experience working with diverse populations across multiple levels of care, including foster care systems, inpatient psychiatric settings, and outpatient adolescent and young adult services. I bring a broad clinical perspective from supporting children in foster care, foster parents navigating the system, and biological parents working toward reunification, as well as adults experiencing acute psychiatric and complex mental health needs. I also draw on my understanding of cultural and personal factors, including my own cultural and religious background, which helps me approach clients with openness, sensitivity, and respect for their lived experiences. I strive to meet clients where they are, offer thoughtful clinical insight, and support them in building practical skills for growth and stability.
My ideal clients are adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and social or interpersonal difficulties. I enjoy working with individuals who may feel overwhelmed by changes in their lives, whether that involves transitioning into adulthood, navigating friendships or dating, coping with breakups, building independence, or adjusting to career and personal stressors. I also support adults across different stages of life who are seeking a safe and supportive space to process emotions, improve confidence, strengthen coping skills, and better understand patterns in their relationships and daily experiences. My goal is to help clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.

I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I believe we can’t always control our first thoughts or emotional reactions to what happens around us, but we can learn how to understand and reframe the way we interpret situations. Using CBT, I help clients identify patterns in their thinking, explore whether those thoughts are accurate or unhelpful, and develop healthier ways to respond.
Supportive
Sometimes we can feel alone in what we’re experiencing, even when we have people around us. It can also feel difficult to express emotions in a way that feels truly heard or understood. Through supportive therapy, I provide a safe and compassionate space for clients to process their thoughts and feelings openly. I offer support, encouragement, and gentle guidance while helping clients build confidence, self-understanding, and healthier ways of coping
