Hi, I am Rasheedat Koleosho, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience in mental health care. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and substance use challenges. As a Clozapine REM-certified provider, I ensure seamless and effective clozapine management for my clients. My approach is holistic, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I work closely with each client to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and needs. Whether you’re seeking medication management or a supportive space to navigate life’s challenges, I’m here to guide you on your path to mental wellness. Together, we can help you achieve a healthier, more fulfilling life.
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we focus on getting to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you in, your goals, and your history—both personal and medical. I’ll ask questions to better understand your concerns, but there’s no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions, express any worries, and get a feel for how I work. By the end, we’ll begin shaping a care plan that aligns with your needs and values. The goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance of warmth, consistency, and personalized care I offer through supportive therapy. I don't rush the process—we go at your pace. I listen closely, validate your experiences, and offer guidance that’s grounded in compassion and practicality. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely cared for, not just clinically managed. My sessions focus on emotional safety and trust, which fosters long-term engagement and real progress. Over time, many experience improved emotional regulation, greater self-awareness, and the confidence to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and resilience.
I work best with individuals seeking compassionate, client-centered care to manage mental health challenges such as bipolar disorder, depression, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, and schizoaffective disorder. My clients are often looking for effective medication management and holistic treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. Whether they are navigating life transitions, feeling stuck or overwhelmed, or seeking stability, I strive to empower them to regain control and improve their overall well-being.
Supportive
In my practice, I use the supportive treatment method to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and encouraged. This approach focuses on fostering emotional resilience, strengthening coping skills, and empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. By offering empathy, active listening, and personalized guidance, I help clients build on their strengths and work toward their mental health goals.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors that may be impacting their well-being. This structured and goal-oriented approach focuses on developing practical coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and fostering healthier thinking patterns. By working collaboratively, I guide clients in challenging unhelpful beliefs and replacing them with more constructive perspectives to support lasting positive change.
