I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Veterinary Social Worker dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s most challenging and meaningful transitions. I work with adults who are seeking support, clarity, and resilience during difficult times, and I am committed to meeting you where you are with empathy and respect. My work focuses on grief and loss—including the loss of loved ones and beloved pets—as well as fertility, adoption, and the emotional complexities of family building. I also have experience supporting healthcare professionals (Human and Veterinary) and first responders navigating stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I draw from supportive therapy and solution-focused techniques to help clients feel heard, build on their strengths, and move toward meaningful change. I believe healing and growth happen in a safe, compassionate and supportive space where your experiences are honored and your goals are prioritized.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is really about getting to know you, at your pace, and beginning to understand what brought you here. You can expect a warm and welcoming conversation, review of logistics and confidentiality, exploration of your goals and the beginning of a relationship built on trust, understanding and support.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a space where people feel safe to be fully human. My presence is steady, nonjudgmental, and attuned. You don’t have to filter or perform—you can show up exactly as you are! I pride myself on my ability to hold space for deep emotional experiences while helping clients move forward in ways that feel realistic, personalized, and hopeful. I lead with compassionate, real-world understanding and normalize complex and often unspoken experiences; whether it’s disenfranchised grief, infertility struggles, adoption-related emotions, or the weight carried by caregivers and first responders. I bring language and validation to experiences in which individuals often feel alone. My approach is strengths-based and collaborative, working alongside my clients to uncover what’s already working with the goal of fostering confidence, autonomy, and a sense of ownership over your growth. Clients can expect to leave sessions not only feeling heard and understood, but with clearer insight, practical coping tools, and a greater sense of direction. My approach supports both immediate relief and long-term resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults navigating grief, life transitions, and emotionally complex experiences. I am especially well-positioned to support individuals coping with the loss of a loved one or a beloved pet, as well as those facing challenges related to fertility, reproductive challenges, adoption, and health-related stress. I also have experience supporting individuals impacted by medical concerns, caregiving stress, and the unique emotional demands placed on healthcare professionals and first responders. My practice is a good fit for clients who: -Are experiencing grief related to human or pet loss -Are coping with infertility, pregnancy loss, or the emotional impact of fertility treatments -Are navigating the adoption process, including uncertainty, waiting periods, or post-adoption adjustment -Are managing chronic illness, new diagnoses, or healthcare-related stress -Work in healthcare or as first responders and are experiencing stress, burnout, or emotional fatigue -Are going through life transitions such as caregiving changes, loss, or shifts in identity -Feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward -Are looking for a supportive, compassionate space to talk openly -Want to build coping skills and strengthen their sense of stability I also work well with individuals who may be new to therapy or unsure where to begin. My approach is gentle, non-judgmental, and centered on helping you feel heard, understood, supported, and more confident in navigating your unique experience.

My treatment methods

Grief Therapy

I have extensive experience supporting individuals through many forms of grief and loss, including the death of loved ones, anticipatory grief, life transitions, and the loss of beloved pets. I strive to create an environment where all forms of grief are recognized and respected. Grief is a natural response to loss, but it can feel overwhelming and isolating. In our work together, I will help you process your loss at your own pace, in a way that feels safe and supportive. Grief Therapy is not about "getting over" your loss it is focused on learning how to carry grief in a way that feels more manageable and meaningful to you.
